Six blinks denotes the absense of horizontal sweep. Check the horizontal output transistor, whcih can be located very near to the LOT [Line Output Transformer]; for short. If it is shorted, LOT must be suspected. Replace the line output transistor with a new one, and switch ON the tv for a short period of time, say 6 seconds or so, and check the heat of the replaced transistor. If it overheats within this time, be sure that LOT is damaged; shorted inside; and should be replaced with same type and number. If a digital multimeter which can measure frequency is available, take the frequency at the collector of the horizontal driver transistor. It should come around 15525Hz. If not replace the jungle IC. OK.

Hi,you might wish to unplug the TV for an hour or more. If this power reset does not allow the TV to turn on component failure is indicated. These sets are assembled using the wave soldering process they are known for having cold solder connections. The safety circuitry shuts the TV set down or will keep it from turning on when it detects a problem. This model of TV has over 2,000 parts, which includes millions of transistors inside the integrated circuits. The capacitors will change value, leak and become defective. Resistors will change value and burn. Diodes and IC can go bad. This may have a domino effect and cause other parts to fail. Replacing one defective part may make the TV operate for a short time but the part will fail again if the parts that caused the failure to begin with are not replaced. The only way to know for sure which parts that are no longer within factory specs and for a proper repair all the electronics must be diagnosed by someone with the correct electronic test equipment specifically designed for TV service and the skills to use the test equipment. I wish I could tell you there was a quick fix or button to push that would fix the TV but that is not the case or the solution needed to get the TV operating correctly.

Please count how many times red light flashing after 3 seconds long pause and let me know, are you handy with electronics stuff repair and can replace part/ chip in circuit board? (soldering work is required)

It has an output board fault. Re solder any dry joints around any heavy transformer or heat sink on the mother board and see if that fixes it.

The red blinking light is an error code. The number of times it flashes tells the service tech where to look for the problem. You can search online with your model and the number of flashes to find out more information about the code and where the issue is with the TV. You'll also be able to find solutions for repairing it yourself if you are experienced with repairs of this nature. Good luck!

there is an ic defekt called mcz3001d and is locatted near the flyback transformer
