Winnabego 2006 how to turn on TV, using generator
Start generator, allow a few minutes to warm up.
If everything works as it should, you should now have AC power in the coach (look at microwave, air conditioner, etc). If not, then start checking the breakers.
If the breakers are on, then go to the generator compartment, open it, and check the breakers on the generator itself. If those are on, then your transfer switch has likely failed.
Some appliances don't like the power that is produced by a generator due to the unsteady nature of frequency (it starts high, and drops as loads are added). If the TV works on shore power, and not when generator is powering the coach (and other 120vac appliances work), this is probably what is going on.

Suddenedly turned off
If you could supply the number of blinks I can help you. This is the diagnostics trying to isolate the area of the problem. Your unit should blink x number of times at about a second apart, then pause 3 seconds and start over. Count the number of blinks and we will continue from there. Thanks for using FixYa.

TV went off, standby timer light flashing
Try unpluging from the wall and theplug back in and try turning back on to reset. Sometimes holding the power button in while pluging back in will reset it, every brand is different for the hard reset.

I was given a tv by sony kv 20fv300 it was working
It's likely that during your search you switched to an alternate input which has "no signal" accidentally. Open the menu and select the input that is associated with where your cable/cables is connected.
The owners manual for that model is available online for free! Go here and download or view the manual for your particular set. http://ec1.images-amazon.com/media/i3d/01/A/man-migrate/MANUAL000050375.pdf
I am sure that would be helpful for you in any case.

Will not come on and front lights flashing red +
If your set is the KV-24FS120, then the standby light should blink with a repeated pattern. Count the blinks and post that number here. It is a diagnostic code that will indicate the defective circuit. Having that information will allow us to suggest repair options.

The first one is to check variation of power supply out puts. meaning power supply is not giving constant voltage outputs. Mostly caused capacitors changing values.
If the power supply tests okay, then check second option, the capacitors around the line transformer. A line transformer is a round transformer with a red cable going to a tube of your tv.
