I don't know why some companies make their drivers so hard to bloody find...
Ok, this is an Atheros wifi adapter used in many brands of notebook.
This driver should work for you.

You didn't specify an operating system, so if you have vista or 7, you'll have to trick them into using this or come back here with a more complete post so someone can get you the right driver.

1. I see that you have a wireless B adapter. Does your wife's computer have a Wireless B adapter also?

2. If ur wife's laptop does not have a wireless B but has a wireless G then we are closer to resolving the problem

3. It's now time to access the wireless router to see if it is allowing access from wireless B client adapters OR only G.

4. If it is set to G only, then you need to change it to B+G

5. If it is already set to B+G, then we need to check the security settings on the AccessPoint

6. If the security settings need for u to register the MAC address of your card in addition to entering a password then u'd have to acquire the MAC address of ur card and add it to the allow list.

Go to the command prompt
Type ipconfig /all (then press enter)

Unfortunately you have to know your security key, it's there for your privacy protection, like passwords to your e-mail or other services.
You have to ask the person who set up the router about the password (key), or ask that person to change it to a new one - and this time write it down and put in a safe place, where you can find it in the future, like on a piece of paper pasted on the router box.
If you change the key on the router, and have other computer(s) using this connection, you will have to re-enter the new key on those machines.

Toshiba is very bad maker of PCs. they ended there direct help web forum site, and now tell all owners to go to toms hardware.
good luck with that, old PC.
what you need is full factory reset, for BIOS and windows.
both. and many PCs will not do that lacking help from maker.
for sure newer PCs are big time locked out (by Design)
but do ask at toms.

The main reason behind this pesky error is PFN. If it gets damaged anyhow, it directly affects the system. PFN or Page Frame Number is very essential for your Windows device. Your hard drive uses it get the path of every one of the files in your physical disk.
There is an abundance of other reasons that can boost this error. Reasons like:
  • Damaged or corrupted system drivers (Remove all the drivers and try to reinstall the driver from toshiba website https://support.toshiba.com)
  • Virus-infected Windows Registry (Scan your PC with Good Anti Virus-like Kaspersky or Bitdefender)
  • System drivers conflict after installing new hardware.
  • Corrupted system files. (Re-install the Windows)
  • System memory corruption (Try to change the RAM if it works.)

Step 1 Insert the Bluetooth transmitter that came with the printer in your laptop's USB port if you're using a Bluetooth printer. The transmitter is a device that the laptop uses to communicate with the printer. If you have a Wi-Fi printer, continue to Step 2.
Step 2 Turn on the printer and connect its USB cord to the laptop. Windows automatically detects new printer models, searches its driver library for your printer's software, and then installs the proper drivers. If Windows does not install the software automatically, go to Step 3.
Step 3 Click "Start ' Control Panel ' Devices and Printers ' Add a Printer."
Step 4 Select the wireless printer from the list on the following page, and then click "Next." If your printer is not on the list, click the "Windows Update" button to find the drivers on the Internet, or insert the installation disc that came with the printer, and then click the "Have Disk" button.
Step 5 Enter a new name for the printer if you do not want to use the default name given on the following page. The computer begins the installation process.
Step 6 Click the "Print a Test Page" button once the installation is complete to verify that the printer works, or click the "Finish" button to exit the printer installation wizard.
Step 7 Disconnect the USB cable and place the printer in a location free from obstructions such as walls, large furniture and appliances.

Hold down F12 and boot the computer. Release the F12 key 1 second after the computer powers on. Note the 'hold down' part. That is, push down F12 and then turn on the computer.

Might take a try or two to get it to work.
