Unprotect the card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Hi Teddy.
Regarding the issue you have with the memory card & the error message showing on the phone. It could be that the memory card you're using is not compatible with the phone model that you have.
Every phone has it's own maximum size of the memory card compatible to it.
E.x. A phone could only support up to 2Gb, but your memory card size is 4Gb.
You could contact your phone manufacturer & ask the maximum size of the memory card allowed for your phone.
If your memory card is compatible with your phone, you could just proceed in formatting the memory card on your phone.
**WARNING**
Formatting the memory card will erase everything saved in it.
Hope that'll help you in some way.

you can try some mobile phone data recovery software. You can seehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOSOGjaVd80It tells the steps how to perform data recovery. If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.
2 possible problems (1) your computer is not recognizing the slots whichmeans download new drivers or (2) our memory card is locked on most cards there is a little switch on the side lock and unlock
There should be a small sliding switch on the side of the card. It should show a LOCK and UNLOCK or symbols as to which way to slide it. If this is not apparant, try tethering it to your computer and find it in MY COMPUTER or WINDOWS EXPLORER. Do a RIGHT CLICK on the drive and click on PROPERTIES. On that tab you will see READ ONLY checked. Uncheck it and you should be good to go. If this doesnt work, give me your results and we will figure it out.
You either need a card reader for the SD card or a digital camera that supports SD cards and use the camera's USB cable to connect to the computer. They also make MICRO SD card adaptors that use USB plugs to connect to that computer!

There are many online providers available to unlock your T-mobile Vairy Touch. Among those i would suggest the site Classicunlocking.com ,and unlock it using unlocking instructions. Then you can use your mobile with any other GSM networks.
You were asked questions? I have been campaigning for this for 3 months. I told them you need a pop-up
All questions need 'make model (what it is)' as first 3 words.
You are missing the maker, but you do mention 'shredding'.
Then I also said 'There are 40,000 categories to choose from'.
You chose 'Cell Phones'.
and it's not a 'memo', it's a question. :>)
So, first of all, disconnect it from the mains for 30 minutes. If you jammed it, you were working it hard, and when it jams, heat builds up in the motor and trips the thermal protection device. They have a thermal cut out, some have a thermal fuse what need physically replacing, but most reset when they cool.
Does it work in reverse? A jam can sometimes damage the switch in the throat of the shredder, some are a mechanical switch, some are an infra-red sensor.
