Go through the signal chain. Mic to mixer to pc.

All the level changes are suspect, what busses are you using...

e.g.
mic to channel 1 on mixer.
trim on mixer 1
fader on mixer 1
L/R balance
fader on L/R
which output from mixer are you using

Then the windows mixer (start/run "sndvol32.exe")
adjust the volume, WAVE, mic, etc.

My first instinct is the windows mic level.

Any of these will work with you factory system. If you have installed a better graphics card or additional drives, you may want to increase the wattage. The answer has to be in the connection. Your XP doesn't have the right driver set
up for the LAN or 10/100 Set up. Try removing the driver and rebooting the system.

Also once in windows try going to start -run and type in command. Once this widow is open type in >: ping www.wnd.com and see if it 'pings' the web. if not then the issue is back to the driver - modem etc.
Do other pc's access the web on the exact same set up? If yes consider validation and then try again.
You can always re-install but I think you need to check the drivers for the
net work card driver. Good Luck

You will need to download the drivers for you system. Because I do not know the windows version that you are using I am unable to assist you in finding the download, but google search something along the lines of (driver download for e-machine T3092 Windows "")

Have you tried the nvidia.com website, just because its Emachines does not mean that nivdia cannot help. They have a genric driver that actually installs and works for different versions of there chip sets.

Give that a try.

Also keep in mind Emachines is gateway.com as well.

ok find out what sound card it is then go looking for the driver or you can get a program like driver pro and it will check then find then install the sound drivers for you hope this helps

are you just replacing the motherboard or are you replacing the north and south bridge chip both guides can be found on youtube hope this helps

If you defragged it then it must have started. I would advise you to save all files you do not want to loose if you can get it started. Now ask yourself this question. What hardware or software changes have you made recently? Have you installed any hardware or downloaded any software at all? If so, that is your problem. Remove whatever you installed if possible, Try starting in Safe Mode.

Check cable. Could be video card.

If you have your Windows installation disk then you need tp press 'R' for repair instead of a full installation. This will repair all the system files and you will not lose any documents or settings.
