Sanyo DVD-SL20 DVD Player Questions & Answers
Why I can't open or close the dvd tray?
You need to unlock the tray. The instructions are in your owner's manual.Common unlock codes are:Power off the DVD and hold the stop button for 5 seconds, then press eject.orPower off the DVD and hold the eject button for 5 secondsSome models need the power on when you do this. I could not find an online manual for details.
Hi, I have a Sanyo
Good day.
You only have to do is remove the top cover of your DVD by unscrewing it.
After that, the internal parts will reveal so you will see the CD tray or the CD mechanism assembly.
Next, when the disc assembly is having a top cover remove it,by loosening all of screw from that cover
And finally you can get the CD from the tray or disc assembly..
Thank you and good luck..
Colours are not comming
Use another set of AV cables to see if it is the DVD player itself or the previous AV cables that might be defective. If it is the DVD player itself, the AV inputs might need to be cleaned.
I have DVD player connected to LG 20LC1R LCD TV.
Hi the first thing you need to do is switch the dvd off at the mains then remove the cable out of the dvd that goes to the telly and also take it out of the back of the telly then refit making sure its pushed in the dvd and telly far enough, doing this will usually solve the problem as most of the time its just static build up.
so once you have refitted the lead plug the dvd back in and switch the telly on then switch the dvd on if the telly goes strait onto the dvd channel then check is working with color if the dvd comes on but dont go to correct channel then you need to press the button on tv remote should be something like av or source or input you will know what im going on about anyway.
so give that a try and see if you have any color then, also check your tv has color on normal telly channels, i take it you have all ready done this as you would have said if everything was affected by this.
if the telly goes onto the dvd by itself and you still have no color then try pressing the av or source or input button on remote just to make sure you are on correct channel, if after doing this you still have no color then try plugging the dvd into another input on the telly doing this will tell you if the input you are using has a fault on it or if the dvd has the fault.
let me know what happens after you have tried the above
