Sharp 37" tv flat pannel

It is blinking because it sensing shorted circuits that are drawing too much current so it goes into safety shutdown mode, the shorts will more likely to be in the inverter board which draws the most power from the power supply module, try disconnecting the power cables to the inverter board to see if the TV will come on without the pictures but still has sound.

TV Flat Screen does not come on.

It can be fixed. I had this problem almost a year ago. I did an extensive search online and found a solution. Apparently there's a couple of caps that need to be replaced. The tv is manufactured in Southeast Asia where they use cheap parts. They know the tv will go bad in about a year or so but i'm sure they could care less.

I went to Radio Shack and purschased two caps and a soldering kit for $13. That's all it took to fix it. Keep trying to find it on the web again with no luck. It had step by step instructions. If you just unscrew the back you'll be able to find the bad caps, desolder, and replace with the new caps.

ONE SPEAKER HUMMING NO SOUND JUST HUMMING AND

Hi, sounds like your TV speaker went bad and it needs to be replaced, if you are still under warranty then you should call a repair center and they will send a tech to your house to replace the speaker for free, check localy to see who is closest to you or you can call Sears, Walmart or Bestbuy and request repair, otherwise you will need to pay for the cost of speaker and labor which typically would be under $100 for that issue... best of luck

Signal is not compatible with this input when i connect my laptop

If the screen resolution on your laptop is to high or not supported by the TV, that is the usual error message.  I'm not sure what video output you are using but if it's the common S-video output, high resolutions will not be supported through it so maybe try a lower resolution and work your way up until you get the message again.  Then you will know the threshold.

WONT COME on .scrreen come

I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV.

Here was the problem. My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired of course) and found four bulged capacitors on the PSB. Many major electronics companies Philips/Magnavox, Sony, Panasonic, and others were sold capacitors that failed in 2-5 years instead of 10-20. The capacitors fail prematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in all sorts of devices and cause a wide range of failure problems.

Here are some options for you.

1. Have it fixed by a professional $$$$$$$??????? (Is it under warranty?)

2. Open your TV and find PSB. (The board that the power cord plugs into) Check for faulty caps. If you find some (bulged or leaking) bad caps replace the entire board. The entire board costs around $250 right now because they are in high demand right now. They can be found at tv-part.com but supplies are limited. I would definitely shop around though.

3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill.

Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourself it will save you hundreds.

This may be your problem. If you determine that it might be.

I have a Tip/How TO tutorial on this site that may also help. It gives step by step instructions for replacing caps on PSB #715t2432-2. If this is your board you are in luck. It's called: Fixing the Philips Turns/shuts off on its own problem. I'm working on uploading pictures to help guide people though the process as well. Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Hope this helps and if it does please rate it accordingly. Good luck.

Hi

Do you have no picture on all imputs i.e, tv or any AV inputs, can you get any on screen graphics from the menu system?, if not, it is possible the inverters( controlling the voltages to the screen) or a supply to the inverters has failed, either way the TV needs to be repaired. If you do get on screen graphics from the menu it would suggest that you have a external source problem either from you aerial (if you have no picture via the tv input) or a connection/syncing issue with an external source

I want to connect microlab

Hello.
You can not connect any speaker to TV directly.
You TV have non-amplified output on the back "Audio out" that you connect using red and white RCA style cable into home theater system or some other audio amplifier. Amplifier itself should have outputs for speakers. Amplifier and speakers have to match. If you have just bare speaker/speakers I would recommend to get rid of it and purchase cheap home theater system that would definately solve your problem. They come with instructions and diagrams of how to connect it to TV.
Regards.

Static and low reduced volume

Hello,

its likely that your TV's sound chip/IC is defective and needs to be replaced for your sound to be sharp and effective again.

If you know about electronic repairs, open up the TV, remove the defective sound chip, take it to any electronics accessories store within your vicinity, and use it to get the correct replacement and all should be well.

But if you don't have any idea about electronic repairs, take it to the nearest repairman withing your vicinity to fix the sound problem for you.

Good luck.

Failed to receive broadcast E202 Sharp

What do you mean exactly when you say "failed to receive broadcast"? Does it not get a signal of any sort? What about from DVDs, do you have a DVD player attached, does that work? Did it used to work just fine with regular TV signal?

Thanks, let me know more and I can definitely help!

I have a toshiba 52

The cost depends entirely upon which country you're in, but there is one universal truth: it's always cheaper to replace the tv than to get a new screen fitted when they're that big.

The lcd panel is overwhelmingly the single most expensive component in your tv: when you bought your tv, you were effectively buying an lcd panel at a huge volume discount with all the other parts thrown in for free. Supplied alone, the panel costs almost as much as the tv but exceeds the cost once skilled labour charges are added.

Power light blinking green,nopicture lc-32sb24u

This same thing happened to me, but not until I fiddled with all of my remotes, trying to see if it was an input issue, battery issue, etc. I finally unplugged the tv from the wall and plugged it back in. Nothing. Then I went to take 5 minute ****. When I finished, the Power & OPC lights were blinking, and out of sync. I pressed the power button at the top of my TV and got a picture.

Word.
