Hi goluckyus...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

Problem with the Apple iPod
Hi,
Regarding your concern, you just need to download iTunes to format your iPod Shuffle.
Using iTunes is the best way to format your iPod Shuffle, since you formatted it I believe you can't get it detected on your computer, you just need to download iTunes from the Apple Webstie then from iTunes that is where you will need to format your iPod Shuffle for it to be detected properly on your computer.
Just go to Apple.com then click on iTunes then download.
Have a nice day,

After charging your portable media
Ifthe MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall.
ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.
Cant get music on
a lot of the ipod's are a pain because they only want you to use their downloads and their music. If you are just trying to transfer music from your music on your computer to the ipod it won't except it. The music will show it transfered to the ipod but won't show up on it because apple with all of their ipods use a different format for their songs which only the ipod can read. I have tried every way around this and you just have to breakdown and go through itunes. You can take all your music you have on your computer now and put it on itunes then load it on your ipod and it will transfer fine. Good news is that itunes is free, lol.
