I need to know a couple of things to answer your question. Brand name & model of your transfer switch that should be in the panel behind the driver and the brand / size / capacity of your generator also. There were 30 ft, 38 ft and 42 ft southwinds all with several different generators (gas & diesel) / power distributions. I think you may have a sticking relay contact in your transfer switch. (Hot / stuck contacts)
Depending on your shore and gen power CBs you can have 50 A and 30 A legs 45 A and 25A legs or 40 A and 20 A legs in your transfer switch. I might be able to figure it out if you knew what size your shore power main CB is. For the moment I have to assume you have an Onan 7.5 Kw gen or a Onan 5.5 kw gen.
This problems remedy will be in the transfer switch area. I.e relay contct repair or transfer switch panel change.
The radio code is a security feature that's meant to deter theft, and it's unique to each vehicle. If you've lost your code, you'll need to contact a Nissan dealership or service center and provide proof of ownership. They should be able to help you retrieve the code. Please do not attempt to use codes from the internet as incorrect attempts may lock your radio.
First thing to do is check to make sure that the batteries are properly charged.
Second, make sure that you have a clear line-of-site to the IR transmitter. Infrared (IR) works the same way that your TVs remote control works - if the signal is blocked, then you will not hear any sound.
Third, make sure that you are in the rear seat of the vehicle when listening to the sound. The IR transmitter only transmits to the rear seat, so you will not hear any sound if you are sitting in the front seats. This is a common problem that i see.
Lastly, make sure that the heapdhones you purchased are compatible with your 2006 2007 2008 2009 or 2010 Toyota Sienna. Remember that some older models require RF headphones, not IR headphones. I checked http://www.audiovideo2go.com for compatibility before I purchased my headphones. They have a useful listing of all the headphones and models of vehicles they are compatible with.
Unfortunately, no one knows or is telling. Companies rarely state power in RMS because Peak Power is a much more impressive. 1000 watt amp, 200 watts RMS x 2 channels at 8 ohms. Look for a sticker on the unit.

Modern vehicle radios are controlled by the Body control Module (BCM) and are used for broadcasting warning beeps and indicator clickers. The beeps an be as innocuous as "do you know your radio is still on"? It can also be caused by your cellphone pinging local transmitters and receiving a confirmation back, or checking in for emails.
