Every screen I've ever sween for sale is more expensive than a new tv itself. I'd try ebay or google and see if you can find one that doesnt work.

Standby means you haven't an oscillation which will drive your flyback. This is due to the ff reasons: -open fusible resistor in line with B+ to the H-out transistor. -shorted H-out transistor -Leak on 160v electrolytic cap. above is the common reason while below still to be consider. -Defective jungle IC -Defective System IC
This is not diy and I've advice to send your unit to repair shop to isolate the problem But check also if it is under warranty. Avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free or a little charge only.
Have a nice day! Thanks for using fixya.

hi all .ive had the same problem,a thick black line down screen.sometimes it flickers from top to bottom and other permantly in view.but i have solved it.forget your ic boards and taking apart tv.have you got either a ps3 or wii connected to tv.if so unplug power lead from socket and relocate in seperate socket.make sure the lead is completely free of any other leads and you might just find this works.i think the power lead creates some sort of frequency that the tv picks up .good luck hope it works

All voltage are OK if power supply is working alone. When the Y-sus board is plugged in, VE drops from 16V to about 4V. So the problem is onto the Y-sus board.

Your main board needs replaced.

If you have the hourglass and the TV shutting down , then the TV is crashing because the system fails to initialize. That can be bad firmware or bad digital controller board.
I don't thing that it is the power board either, but the power board must be tested the same by a technician.
