Every BMW radio has a different radio code. It's an anti-theft device. If you are the original owner of the vehicle and still have the owner's manual package you should be able to find a card in the package labeled "Radiopass" that will have the code. If you don't have the pass there are a couple of ways to get the code depending on the model of the radio. If the radio is still in the car simply turn the radio on and press and hold the "m" button within a few seconds of turning the radio on to get the radio's serial number. That will be the number needed to get the radio code. Not all BMW radio models have that feature. If you cannot retrieve the serial number that way you will need to remove the radio and get the number from a sticker or plaque on the radio. At this point you will need to take that number to a dealership and have them get the radio code for you. NOTE: if you bring them just the number or just the radio and are not able to provide proof of ownership they will not give you the code. Be prepared to prove that you are the rightful owner with a copy of your registration and driver's license. BMW typically requires that both pieces of ID have the same name and address so you won't be able to send someone else on your behalf.

I Just bout an r32 mk5 golf 4motion and it has eonon unit. The touch screen not working I can not move up or down the icons to turn blue tooth on. Or anything cant select between USB stick and sd card and not showing any maps the touchscreen not in any operation at all. Has anyone had this issue

the lcd screen is bad your best bet is to replace with after market

Try buying and using a laser lens cleaner disk to try and resolve this.

The only reset is to disconnect power to the changer at the fuse box for 30 seconds. I doubt that will help, you likely just have a defective player.

Check your fuel pressure at idle and when at higher rpm while not driving. You can usually borrow a pressure tester from an auto supply store. The place to test it will be on the fuel injection rail on top of the intake manifold. I would buy a Haines manual too.

you may have to take the amp apart and clean any corrosion off inside of the amp. if the corrosion ate any of the leads of components or any traces, you may have to replace the amp. this is assuming it is the factory amp you are talking about.

very interresting. could be that one of the cables short to ground due to damaged insulation. there is no logic that a fuse is blown without shortage or over currency. i dont think it will cause any problem to remove hole unnecessary cables.
