RCA RTD205 System Questions & Answers
The DVD tray will not eject. It cannot detect
Hello
Usually there is a little hole near the eject button. That hole this is there for this spesific reason. Unplug the device and push a small pin into the hole. The trey should now be ale to gently pull out. This is the way that any repair shop will do this, so why pay if you can do it yourself?
Just be very gentle throughout the whole process. Push the oin in all the way untill you feel resistance and hold it in while you pull out the trey. Really hope this can help you. Please rate this.
Best regards
How to connect an Xbox 360 to an RCA RTD205 System?
you can turn every thing into surrond sound. all your visual componants, i.e. x-box, cable, dvd player and so on. connect directly to your tv, right? if so go to your local eltronics store and get youself an optical cable, typically $50.00 or so depends on the length. Go home with that cable connect it to the optical out on your tv and optical in on your reciever, (stereo) and bam all componants are now linked to your surroun sound. Dont forget to post your satisfaction. Be sure you have optical in and out before you go buy this wire. For god sake do not kink this wire either or you will have to buy a new. There is glass inside of optical wires, that transmits the light that the sound travels on.

My RCA home theater system,
Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.
Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.
You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.
If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.
If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.
