there may be a problem with ur charger. if u have the warranty card for ur set u can replace the charger with another 1....
plz do comment and rate.

Remove the back panel of the player you will probably find that it will work fine. I did this to my daughters unit and found that the panel was pushed in and depressing the reset button all the time. I rescued it out of the garbage when she bought an i-pod, now I have this unit for myself and it works great.

You may get the error that you're getting if there's a problem with the USB port of the computer, with the USB cable, or with the USB port of the device itself.

Try connecting the Samsung mp3 device to a different USB port of your computer. Usually, it's best to connect the device on the USB port at the back of the computer. Make sure that the USB cable is properly inserted on the USB port of the device and on the computer.

You may also try connecting the Samsung mp3 device to a different computer to isolate the problem.

Another isolation is to try connecting a different USB device on the computer, just to check if the USB ports of the computer is working properly.

Try using a different USB cable also, if you have any.

It appears you need to use the rollback program, or the recovery program. But it also sounds like your usb cord is either broken or not plug in tightly. Press the usb adapter in untill you hear a click then plug it into the pc.

Right click the song and select ID3 Tag Editor or Properties
Change the name, album, etc

you cant see the files on this player in xp or any other windows format come to that...

you need samsung music studio to be able to see the files on your pc....and the driver if needed....

i guess when you say upgrade you mean the firmware.....

if so i dont think many firware revisions have been released for this player ( if any at all exept one already installed)...

Are you running windows media player on Vista, if so I'm having same problem. Appears one needs Windows XP, which is rather annoying..

format the player once and load again ...

easy way to delate it is on ur mp3 player it says deleat or via ur usb on ur pc go into the drive and deleat from ther either singular or complete

It is very likely your battery is used up, if it still plays music while on the charger. If it can play on the charger you need a new battery.
