When the TV is turned

Hello
There is some circuit defects [either short or open] inside the circuit board of your Samsung TV. It may be either in its power regulator secion of in its horizontal output section. You are seeing short circuit self protection as LED blinks. To checkout, you have to open your Tv

Open your TV after disconnecting it from the mains power socket. As far as power supply regulation system is concerned, it is working, otherwise green LED shouldn't light up. Therefore 5vDC powe section is correct. You just chek for other voltages in the secondary side of SMPS tranformer. There should be a 120VDC and an 8V Ic regulated supply. It is a common fault in Samsung TVs, that this 8VDC supply will be interrupted, as it has been derived from a regulator Ic [7808]. Check for this voltage first. It is a three terminal device. Its pin number 1 is for voltage input, usually 13vCD of so, and the retlated output come out of it pin number 3, and will be a steady *VDC. Check for any loose solderings on the terminals of this regualtor IC. If this voltage is absent, horizontal oscillator section of the main Ic will not work, resulting in total horizonta output failure. If this voltage is ok, chek the main secondary voltage; 115 of120VDC, supplies to horizontal output section, which in turn drives LOT and so on. Check the line driver tranformer, for winding open. Check its primary winding voltage, and if you have a digital multimeter capable of measuring frequency, check the frequency of horizontal drive transistor's collector, connected to one end of the above said horizontal driver transformer. It should be around 15625Hz.
If these should not help, or the set shuts down as you switch it on, test this. Desolder it out the horizontal output transistor, which drives the LOT [Line Output Transformer}; which can be located very near to the above said LOT. If the all the supply voltages come normal after resodering out the horizontal output transistor, it means that either horizontal output transistor is faulty, or LOT itsef isfaulty. If so, replace the horizontal output transistor with a new one; identical both in number and type. After replacing it, switch on the set for a short period, say 30 seconds or so, and check the heat of the replaced horizontal output tranisitor. If it overheats, LOT must be replaced, and it is the fault.

Samsung 27"txj.....

This will need to be taken to a repair shop. You likely have either a bad solder connection that "opens up" when the set warms up, or a filter capacitor that is going bad. Depending on the picture quality and replacement value of the set, you may just want to replace it as the repair could run about $100 I would guess.

Diagnosed, fried resistor.

Where is the resistor located and whats it feeding? A resistor will not fry all by itself. Its like a fuse, its there to cook so nothing else does. Sorry to say your taking a big chance by installing a resistor without checking what circuit it is in and whats it feeding. It could possibly cause more damage to the power supply or the sweep supply. Good Luck

Why is my Samsung plasma tv screen becoming dark suddenly meanwhile it's on and still functioning

Hello. You can check HDMI cable in this case. If you're using an HDMI port that's not working well or has been damaged, it could result in a darker-than-usual screen. If you switch the cable or change devices and the TV is at a regular brightness, this is the case.

Samsung 55 TV White vertical patches?

It sounds like you might be dealing with backlight bleeding or an issue with the LED backlighting in your TV. This can sometimes occur over time due to normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects. If it started as a faint single brighter section and has now expanded to four, it's likely a hardware issue. While it may not be an easy fix, contacting the manufacturer's customer support or a professional technician would be a good next step to diagnose and possibly repair the problem. If you'd like, you can share the pictures for a more accurate assessment.

Samsung VHS VR8360C - if i use a three colour av cable on the VHS end and go to an HDMI connector at LG tv end will this work or do I need a converter?

The old yellow, red, white RCA cables are analogue signals, while HDMI cables only carry data. They are in no way compatible. You can buy active conversion boxes that will convert analog to digital, but simple cables cannot work

Remote code for Samsung remote to LG tv

It can't be done. The Samsung remote will be single frequency for that Samsung device only and the LG remote for that television (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television. If you have lost a remote or it doesn't work, this is the answer https://www.fixya.com/support/r29872378-universal_remotes_no_facsimile_remote ..

Samsung un55nu6950fxza TV

These LEDs are very susceptible to static electricity damage. What happens when they get zapped is a tiny threading fault starts in the LED crystal. The aluminum contact metal starts migrating into the crack, makes it wider and longer, and eventually goes all the way through the LED and shorts it out. When that happens, the metal overheats and burns out the LED so the entire string goes dead. What this means for you is that the original LED may have been may have been zapped at the factory. The replacement strip likewise, or when it was removed from another TV (if it is a used part), or when you put it in. It should have been in anti-static packaging. You have to be very careful not to touch any of the circuitry on the LED strip, and make sure you ground your hand to the TV metal both before picking up the LED strip and right before connecting the strip to the TV. Better yet, use an anti-static wristband connected to the TV frame. It is possible that the LED driver for that string is pushing too much current, but that's not likely. You would probably notice that part of the screen is unnaturally bright.

Brand new Samsung 77 OLED tv. Got knocked off the stand and fell on and bent the lower corner

It sounds like your TV has a display issue, likely caused by physical damage to the screen due to the bend. Repairing a damaged screen can be quite expensive, often nearing or exceeding the cost of a new TV, especially for larger screens like the one you described. Here are a few options you might consider:
  1. Sell it as is: You can try selling the TV in its current condition, clearly describing the issue with the display. Some buyers may be interested in purchasing it for parts or attempting a repair themselves.
  2. Attempt a DIY repair: Depending on your technical skills and willingness to take on the challenge, you could try to repair the TV yourself. However, this can be risky and may void any remaining warranty. There are online tutorials and replacement parts available, but again, this route requires some technical expertise.
  3. Professional repair: You could contact a professional TV repair service to get an estimate for repairing the screen. Be sure to weigh the cost of repair against the potential selling price of the TV after it's fixed to determine if it's worth the investment.
  4. Sell for parts: If repairing the screen is not feasible, you could dismantle the TV and sell its components individually. Some parts, like the internal circuitry or casing, may still hold value to electronics enthusiasts or repair professionals.
  5. Trade-in or recycle: Some retailers offer trade-in programs where you can exchange your old electronics for store credit or discounts on new purchases. If the TV is beyond repair, you can also look into recycling options to properly dispose of it.
Ultimately, the best option for you will depend on the extent of the damage, your budget, and your willingness to invest time and effort into repairing or selling the TV.
