Where is the defrosting clock
The defrost timers are sometimes located in the same area as the temperature controls. A cover in this area will have a round hole giving access to the clutch head screw used to actuate the timer cycle. These timers are not field serviceable and are a replacement part. The cover over the control section should be removable to access the timer for replacement.

Outs side my chest freezer
The condenser where heat is given off to the outside air around the freezer is built inside the outer walls. This is entirely normal.

I have a zanussi fridge
It means that the defrost system has a fault which IS a repairable item. Defrost systems have three main components; a timer that starts the defrost process, heater which defrosts the cooling coils, and defrost termination switch which shuts down the heater when the temperature is reached where all ice is gone.

I have an older fridge
What make and model is this unit. It sounds like it could be an error code. Possibly a thermal fuse or something in the defrost cycle. Try unpluging the unit for 15 mins and plug it in again. It will at least reset it and it may run until it hits the defrost cycle again. You are most likely going to require service.

How to remove drip tray at back of aeg fridge
On an AEG SANTO 3533, the tray sits on top of the compressor. There is a short metal "tunnel" on top of the compressor. The tray has a plastic clip in the middle which goes through the tunnel and latches up on the other side. To remove, reach to the back of the metal in the middle of the tray, press the plastic clip firmly down, and pull/wiggle the tray backwards horizontally to remove. Needed a torch to see clearly on mine. One of these things that's easy once you've done it once.
