Make sure the OUT button is lit.

move ink cartridge to center
remove ink cartridge
knock off the mountain off dried ink where the ink cartridge normally sits

plug back in

look in the bottom of the paper tray and push backstop flush up to the paper

Unplug the machine and move the ink cartridge to the all the way to the left.

Take a letter opener and knock off the column of dried ink that has built up where the cartridge was sitting.

If this does not fix it, the main board is defective.

What happens when you try to send?

My fax is on tel.mode. how do i change to auto recieve fax.
