No one sells a suggested replacement, as I like to say "anything can be fixed" so as a non suggested solution to your problem. I could not get an accurate representation on the net but you can replace the battery once you open it to see what the size (dimensions) and specs (voltage and amperage), then at which point we can find someone that makes the battery that would be compatible with that unit. You can also pay a local repair guy to do it. Because none of this is cost effective I'm gonna say just replace it but if you must keep it, that should get you in the right direction. good luck

You may have a set that is Japanese only. Also Panasonic seem to think that model doesn't exist!

My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
That depends upon the exact model of Strada that you have.
If it is a CN-NVD905U, then that has only three languages: English, French, and Spanish. (So if it is in Japanese, presumably you don't have that model.)
I suspect you may have acquired a Japanese (-and-Korean-and-perhaps-Chinese) -language-only model.
But in any case, language changing is usually the first screen on initial setup. If you get a screen of language with two buttons, on the lower left and on the lower right, you probably should select the left-hand button, then select one of (possibly three) languages. English being predominant, the left-most button of three would be one to choose, if you have a model that can be set to English at all.
The initial setup screen with language choices, will probably be what you get once you reset the device to factory settings.
But tell me the exact and full model #, and I will research further, specifically to that model #. Ask Your Own Consumer Electronics QuestionType your question here... Customer reply replied 3 years ago The model # ***** ***** smile4large500by500.64x64.gif Electronics Technician: Russell H., Service Tech replied 3 years ago I cannot find any definitive references to language for that model. But: most (by far) of the pages that reference it are in oriental or Japanese characters! (kanji, that is.)
So I surmise it is a Japanese-language-only (with perhaps Korean and Chinese as alternate settings.)
Try a reset, select the left button of two on the screen that appears, then try each of the three (?) language choices after that, to see if any of them are in English.
After that, conclude that it is Japanese-(or Korean or Chinese-)only, period.

You are not putting it in correctly. In one way it will only go partially into place and will not allow you to close the battery door. turn it around and it will lock into place. Look in the hole for the contacts and make sure the battery contacts are in the same alignment.

There are exceptions to this. For example, adjusting the White Balance is not available in the 4K Photo mode. See page 197 of the Advanced User Manual: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/camera/om/dmc-zs60_adv_en_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Try setting the top dial to P, A, S or M and see if that helps. You should be pressing the fat silver button that is inside the zoom control ring on top of the camera. If it still won't work, can't help but think this is something confounding but simple and if that is the case, ask for help in any camera store. Tell them you can't shoot a still photo and see if they can't figure it out.

It is awful trying to shoot with equipment that won't work right. Hope you have figured this out long before now.
