WHY DO I HAVE TO PUT MY TV ON CHANNEL THREE TO WHATCH A MOVIE
Both previous solutions are correct, but there may be another step. Sometimes the switches are hard to see because they are small and hide near the antenna in and out jacks. But some newer VCR's don't have a selector switch at all. To choose between channel 3 and channel 4 output, you need to use the VCR's setup menu. So if you can't find a switch like the other posters mentioned, check the VCR setup menu for an output channel selection. Then, as previously mentioned, make sure that the VCR output channel is added to your TV's channel lineup.
If you find a solution not exactly what you need, or not clear enough, please post a followup before giving negative ratings (thanks for trying or not appropriate). While those of us who take time to answer questions and try to help here don't get paid, we are more likely to be taken seriously if our ratings stay up. At the very least, both of the previous solutions should have been ranked helpful, because they are correct and should have given you the advice you needed.
Oh, one last thing: In posting, using all capital letters makes it hard to read, and is the equivalent of shouting. Please turn off the caps lock key. Thanks!
