This was a common problem with these finishers. It has to do with the stapler unit rotation binding up as it moves into the stapler compiler. Even if you don't use the stapler, it still does a diagnostic test at power on. Here is a cheap easy fix that usually works. First you need to open the finisher front door where the staple unit is located. Remove the white inner cover of the finisher that you gain access to the stapler through-about 5 screws. You will see a blue solonoid in the upper right hand corner. There are tick marks etched into the metal frame, take note of the position of the solonoid to these marks. To adjust the solonoid, open the door on the right side the paper exits and look at the back of the frame where the solonoid sits. You should see two small phillips screws about 2 to 3 inches apart. Loosen them and change the position of the solonoid referencing the tick marks. This will change the angle the guide hits the stapler compiler, which is usually the cause of these error codes. I would not recommend spending 700 dollars to try and have this problem fixed, because after some time it will come back. You can also try opening the right finisher door and look down into the finisher. You will see two belts and two plastic fingers about 4 inches long with a point on the end. Take some fine sand paper or a small file and file down the back bottom side of those fingers. It is a tight fit to get back behind them. You want to remove any small nicks in the plastic that have formed by the stapler guide hitting them. Good Luck

If that doesn't work then try pushing # * C * the push 14 and push the start button. The machine should reset and be ok.

If you have a finisher installed on your machine or any other accessory it needs to be removed. Then on that right side the panel comes off with 2 shouldered screws. Next you have to remove the HDD cover which is located right at the top almost centered on that right side. Its 2 screws and you remove the HDD connectors and then unscrew the the HDD from the frame.

this is message that the copier did certain amount of copies and it needs to be cleaned and ispected. The purpose of preventive maintenace is to stop or reduce problems before they occure. In most cases they occure when you need the copier urgently.

This can be reseted in simulation mode, but I recommend to get service technician to service the copier.

indeed you can experience the paper JAM because the developing motor is the one which is faulty.
1. check if it is being powered.
2. if so change it.
3. maybe its gear is broken therefore it can not rotate.

You could look into the document properties to see how the page layout was setup by the creator of the document or when that error pops up push the Job Status button then touch the print job to highlight it the touch the soft key that says Details in the lower right corner of the lcd and then selected the paper size you want it to use.

Network Error CE-02 - this is where the machine cannot communicate with the SMTP Gateway / Mail Server for scanning. Check that you have a connection with the network and that you have the correct SMTP I.P address.

If you are using a host name for the mail server make sure that you have configured the DNS entries correctly.
