20 Most Recent Finis Swi MP3 Player Questions & Answers

Generally the computer should recognize the Swimp3 Player just like it would a flash drive or thumb drive. Remove the drive from your USB Port, press and hold the RESET button for 4 seconds and then try again.

That will usually clear up any hiccups you're having with the swimp3 player.

Plug it back in and look in My Computer again. On my Windows PC with XP it pops up and asks what I want to do with the drive.

After Resetting, you may also want to try it on a second computer to see if it is recognized. If it isn't working then, it could be the electronics, and your gift giver can check with the place where it was purchased.

I hope this helps.

This is due to two reasons
1.Driver problem: You need to put the CD which you've got along with the player and you need to install the USB driver. Restart the computer. Now connect your player with the computer.
2.Player problem: If the player is not connected even after installing the driver, then that is player problem. Now reset your player and again try to connect. Even after these steps your player is not connected, contact support.

Cheers, The K.

It sounds like the battery is defective, remove it and test it for voltage.

Unfortunately there is no real fix for this. If you have a new player, it could have an odd defect. The manufacturer offers a 90 day warranty, so if its within that window, and you purchased from an authorized dealer, they'll be more than happy to help you with a warranty replacement.

I wish I had better news for you.

Good Luck,

While the device is still plugged into your computer, empty your trash. That should delete the music off the device as well.

Possible that the device was in shelf for sometime and the battery had developed reverse emf. The best thing as a last resort is to drain out totally and recharge for a long time, discharge again and repeat this recharging process for some time. Sometimes it might change the cells to live. I hope my advise will be useful . Good Day
