this indicates a faulty circuit component overheating take it to a tv shop for a proper diagnosis and quote

one konka code which I know is press (SLEEP) button on remote handset& (MENU )BUTTON ON FRONT PANEL OF TV SIMULTANEOUSLY. the tv receiver will enter in to service mode. please try if it helps good luck.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power supply regulator [SMPS] section circuit.

The mains system memory IC to your TV has damaged. Replace it.

Download the service manual to your TV from internet. It will have guide and details about its repair.

If that connector is supose to be connected to the tuner, a long rectangular box, then most likly the tuner will need to be replace, and on a set like this I looked up a rebuilt tuner and the cost will be 58.00 from PTScorp, but is not for a novice to do.. it should be done by a pro so therefor its probably not worth fixing. If its part of a small square box that a wire attaches to the tuner. that part should be available and is know as an antenna block assy. Check your closed-caption settings and be sure they are turned off. If captioning is set for text mode you can have this trouble. The TV blanks out a part of the screen for the text it never gets to display. Once captioning is shut off (or set for normal caption mode if you want to use it) the black box will be gone.

do u have High Voltage? is the hot working.. and is the B+ line ok?
maybe hard to get a flyback.. check with manufactuer or commercial electronics store.

there is a faulty capacitor in the regulator or power supply itself. Also slight tendency for the high voltage transformer to blow out, Not sure if you model has this or not. I do not have a manual.
