GoPro HD 960. The camera
Hi I found this:- Record up to 2.5 hours on a single charge and up to 9 hours total on a 32GB SD card (not included). Can you try another card, is the card correctly formatted is it a duff card.
Look up the user guide and that should help.

Stuck in video mode
I had the same. I plug it into the computer and unplugged it several times, took out the micro SD card. Finally it said "no SD" after a while. Pulled out battery and put back in then plugged into computer again, and back to normal it seems. Sorry this is not a step by step but I was just trying random things till it worked. Did not re-test to see if it is OK for the next recording session.

Unless the camera is actually in record mode, your previous video files should be complete on the SD card and should not be affected by removing the battery. The freezing COULD be a result of the SD card itself. Most live video recording devices which use media of this type work best with cards that are rated "Class 4" or higher. (Class refers to the read/write speed of the card; the higher the class, the faster it performs.) The class rating is usually shown inside a small circle printed on the card. A 32 GB card of Class 4 or higher is still pretty pricey, so if yours is only Class 2, the camera circuitry may be sending data to the card faster than it can handle it, thus locking it up. You might be better off with a smaller capacity card (16 or even 8 GB) that has a higher Class rating (4 or even 6).

I'm taking videos and pictures
Does the mounting bracket for the camera allow it to be turned? If so, just turn it 180 degrees. If not, there should be a preference setting in the Menu/Setup routine that will allow you to change the orientation. Good luck. *

When i am in video mode, my camera only records
Is it EXACTLY 60 seconds EVERY time? If so, it sounds like a preference setting (probably default). Try going to the Menu section and look for a "Setup" routine and see if there is a "Max. Record Time" (or something similar) setting. Change as desired. Usually there is a choice for the maximum capacity of your recording media, SD card or whatever. If it starts out ending at 60 seconds and gets progressively shorter with each recording cycle, it may need recharging. Good luck. *

My doorbell has gone quiet
It may have this silent option in either choice for volume or melody. My doorbell has numbered buttons that need to be pressed together with the button to open the door, in order to access these functions.
Another thought is that a battery needs to be replaced.
