Probably DVDSP can't read the format you exported from FinalCut. Either try to export another format from FinalCut or use a converter like Compressor (You might have when you use FinalCut) to convert the exported file.
I can personally recommend HandBrake which is a graphical frontend to FFMPEG to convert/transcode video formats.

Yes, it will have to be redone - the program needs an .stl file, not.son.

#1
Insert your ( memory card , flash disk , cellphone , .... ) into your computer.
#2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
#4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
#5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
#6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

The Subtitle streams are found in the Track Editor window, just below the audio tracks and are numbered from S 1 to S 32. Once selected, you can easily change these font attributes and the Font Palette in the Inspector. The default font style and size are controlled in the DVD SP Prefs, Text tab.

You can also change the font background color.

IF YOU USING WINDOWS VISTA, IT MIGHT HAVE NOT BEEN INSTALLED PROPERLY, THUS TRY IT AGAIN BUT FIRST LOOK UP FOR IT ON YOUR CONTROL PANEL- PROGRAMS.

IF YOU USE XP, CHECK IF IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH IT BECAUSE IT MIGHT LOOK AS IF IT IS BEING INSTALLED YET IT IS NOT.

IF THE PROBLEM PERSIST, USE MY EMAIL 208501414@UKZN.AC.ZA SO WE COULD TAKE OTHER STEPS .

LOOKING FORWARD TO HEAR FROM YOU

This is ancient but there are probably people still out there looking for the answer. Try this...
1) First off, make sure the color mode of your PSD is RGB.
2) Rasterize all layers. DSP does not like text, masks, layer styles or anything of the sort.
3) Make sure there are no additional alpha masks or channels.
4) I think this is the one that gets people. It's awkward but it has fixed my problem in the past. Basically DSP needs the locked "Background" layer in your file to see it correctly. Maybe that's what it looks to for the file dimensions. I'm not really sure but it needs to be there. Just create a new file with the same dimensions and duplicate your layers into the new file. Save As... Done.
Hopefully this will help some get past this annoying problem.

I discovered after some research that this issue can be resolved by hitting the format button. It burns the disc without going through all the other processes.

You need to convert the text file to a subtitle file, there is some additional free software doing this in a simple way.
I see if I can find user manual and downloads.

Try burning it with another burning software like Nero, sometimes studio pro burns in an extention assigned to this particular macpro, try other type of DVD discs too, it will work eventually
