Check each set of wires and speakers to be sure no wire or lead is connected to a chassis ground. The radio will see this as a short and turn off the internal amplifier causing the on but no sound issue. Each speaker connected to the radio needs dedicated positive and negative leads from the radio to each speaker. HOPE THIS HELP!

First of all, check if there is any audio device connected to the receiver. If there is, check if the audio device is turned on and the volume is correctly set.If the receiver does not have any audio device connected, then you should connect the antenna and try again.

Hi, please double check all connections from your jvc device to your tv. You might have misplaced some plugs. You can use the both tv and jvc manual to ensure that you've made every necessary connection. Also, you can check that your remote doesn't currently have mute activated and the volume is turned up on the tv. You might have to turn the jvc volume up directly from the device as the remote might not be able to do this. Thank you.

Unless you are an electronics engineer, it is unlikely you can fix. Look on the back for a fuse holder. If there is check it with a multimeter. It may be protecting the audio parts. Make sure you don't have a button press for a different audio source than what you think and also check if you have switchable speaker outputs. Finally make sure the speakers are connected and the dog hasn't pulled them out. You can only preset stations one by one. First, you can do a full scan for all stations in range. Press and hold the Stop button on the unit. Press Play/Pause to start the scan. (There are alternate methods using the remote control. See page 17 of the manual.) Press Fast Forward or Fast Reverse on the unit to navigate through the stations that have signal. To set a preset, tune in a station using the Tune+/Tune- buttons on the remote or Fast Forward/Fast Reverse. Then press and hold Prog/Preset on the remote. When you see ##Empty or a preset number, use Tune+/Tune- to select one of the 20 preset storage numbers. Press OK/Play/Pause to save the preset. (If using the buttons on the unit, press Fast Forward/Fast Reverse to select a preset location. Press Play/Pause to save. You will see Stored on the display in either case, if you successfully saved the frequency to the location. Most platters and turntables use a friction fitting. Basically It's pushed on. The centre spindle has a slight taper on it so the platter grips tighter the farther down you push it. Lift the lid out of the way, off altogether if you can. Get a helper to hold down the body of the turntable with one hand and push their thumb of the other hand down on the tip of centre spindle. While they do this you grip the outside edges of the platter on opposite sides and firmly pull UP. **Caution** The platter might let go suddenly so warn your helper AND be ready for it.
