How do i redeem gift cards and apply them to next book i buy
Of all the gift cards I have received in the past, I just handed them to the cashier when I checked out. Suggest you buy something that is more expensive than your gift card so you have to supplement your payment with cash. It doesn't have to be much at all, Even a penny will do.. Some stores will not give you "change" for a gift card so if you want to get the "biggest bang for the buck" squeeze all you can from your gift card this way.

Include foods that can be prepared in advance and frozen and avoid fiddly dishes that will take a lot of preparation time on the day.5. Make a list of supplies that you needs such as plates, napkins etc and stick to it when you go showing. A lot of expense can be saved if you don't shop impulsively.6. When you decorate, ask friends if they have anything suitable to lend/ give you. It's a shame to buy if there are spare items going to waste.7. Most importantly - enjoy!! parties are all about fun. keep it stress free and low key and then you'll be able to enjoy your own party.
Making your own visual effects without special equipment
Most computers today come with a video editing software that at least has basic functions that one would need to create many different kinds of visual effects. All you need for the two most common visual effects are a computer with a movie maker and a digital camera that shoots video. The most commonly used visual effects are stop-motion and Jump cut editing.To create stop-motion of say your pen opening itself you would take a series of photos with a slight change in position in every shot. Then at the end you take all the shots and play them together at about .5-1 second per image and it will look like the object is moving on its own. This is particularly useful for when you want to make a person look like they are jumping into an object or flying.Jump cut, is the most commonly used technique for visual effects. What you do is film the person or object that you want to disappear, then stop filming remove them from the camera's view and the continue filming. When the two shots are played together as one then it appears that the person or object disappears. You can use this technique to make someone appear and disappear anywhere in your shots.
Some Creative Ideas for Gift Wrapping
- You don't have to rely on boring shop bought gift wrapping paper. If you are looking for something alternative, take a look at the ideas below.
- If you have a printer at home you can use your computer to set up a personalized pattern ie a name and then print the paper with the recipient's name all over it.
- Use spare bits of fabric to wrap up gifts. You can tie it with ribbon to complete the effect.
- Even cereal boxes make great boxes for gifts. cut them up and glue or stapel them into shape and then cover with paper or fabric.
- Use cheap plain paper but cut out decorative pictures from old greeting cards to add vibrancy and color.
- Use plain white printing paper but tie it up with a fancy ribbon. It looks great!!
