Oven makes a clicking sound after it has been
Dear Robbird:
You need to give more detail---- brand. model, age, gas or electric, speed or repetitiveness of the sound; is it a click or a tick sound ? I will assume it is gas. Is the sound the same as when you start a top burner and you hear the tick as it is lighting? Or, is it a click the is slower and you hear it from somewhere inside the oven ? It could be the metal body expanding as the outer parts of the oven get hotter with long hour usage. I n the is case, there is nothing to do or to worry about. Does the sound stop when you turn off the oven or does it continue for a while. Naybe you can resubmit with better info to get a more precise diagnosis. Wait to hear from you, Macgivor.
Hard to light burners
I have the same question, does anyone know why the igniter takes such a long time to light the burners? At least 6 to 7 clicks. The sparks from the igniter looks blue and has a good spark. This is true with all burners. I have cleaned the stove and around the igniters, Mine is a sealed burner so I haven't opened it up.
