T.v. woun't turn on it only makes a chirping sound when plugged i
Please refrain from turning this set on!
The popping is caused by exploding capacitors from high voltage fault. Chirping is from some other parts that are now receiving too much voltage and are complaining. The next step is FIRE. This set will require major surgery. It is not a DIY. Cost in vicinity of $3-400 Unless you have extended warranty. If you recently experienced a storm then try claiming fusion on your household insurance. get repairs to state FUSION.. at least part of it will be paid for you.

52" ProScan TV
You would have to do that through the service menu. However I would not recommend doing that without the service manual. I can post a link to the service manual if you would like.

ProScan 52" Projection Turns on the right off after clicking a few times
I've had the same problem with a 60" proscan. The tech repaired it ($400 for the repair) and left a note inside the chasis explaining what he did (in case he had to fix it again). He replaced a resistor and re-soldered a number of ICs. It happened to me again, and I may attempt the repair myself this time around.
Tv turns on and off 4 times but never starts.
Your problem is most likely in the main power supply or possibly in the sweep power supply. Without the know how and a service manual, you could turn a minor problem into a mojor headach.. LOL Play it safe and invest in a pro to assist you in this repair, as there are no user replaceable parts inside this TV set. Good Luck
Auto Convergence failed becuase PS52800 failed to detect one of my Sensors?
The overscan would certainly cause auto convergence failures since the beam the CRT's shoot out are on the corners and upper center and lower center. Being too dark can also cause issues since one of the CRT beams might not be bright enough for the sensors to register. I would first have someone adjust the vertical size if the top and bottom of the frame are somewhat cutoff.
My tv is blinking a blue light when I try to turn it on along with a popping sound.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the power supply or internal components of your Proscan PLDED5030A-RK TV. The blinking blue light and popping sound could indicate a malfunction that is preventing the TV from turning on properly.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Unplug the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for at least 10-15 minutes. This can help reset the internal components of the TV.
2. Check the power cord and connections to ensure they are secure and not damaged. If there are any visible signs of damage, such as frayed wires, replace the power cord.
3. Try plugging the TV into a different power outlet to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the power source.
4. If the issue continues, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance. They can diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate repairs.
It's important to exercise caution when dealing with electronic devices, especially when there are signs of malfunction such as unusual sounds or lights. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to seek help from a qualified professional.

Does a proscan model PLED5544U have a reset button
The Proscan PLED5544U is a 55-inch LED TV. While it doesn't have a physical reset button, there are a few ways you can reset it:
- Unplug the TV: Unplugging the TV from the power outlet for a few minutes can help reset it. This allows any residual power to dissipate and can clear any minor software glitches.
- Use the remote control: Press and hold the power button on the remote control for at least 10 seconds. This can sometimes reset the TV.
- Use the menu: If you can access the TV's menu, you can try resetting it through the settings. Go to the "Settings" menu, then "System" or "General" settings. Look for an option to reset the TV to its factory settings.
If none of these steps work or if you're experiencing other issues with your TV, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance.
