No PC stated, no answers possible of the 10,000 HP models. for 36 years. running. it must be dismantled and cleaned. how deep mr insect went is not possible for any person in a TEXT box to say ever. You can't install it over 7. But, can install it to an other partition, and can select the O/S, when boot up.

The error message refers to the battery on the bottom of the notebook that powers it when it's not connected to A/C power. If you go into the F2 at startup or use HP Support Assistant, you can run a comprehensive battery test

Could be a number of things. Could be the Hard Drive ( 320 Gb ) Could be stuck key or water damage on Keyboard/ mouse pad. If you have the savvy to explore, remove the battery, Hard Drive and Memory. Blow out the cooling fan area and re-install all that you removed. Sometimes, just reseating things like memory , CPU and Hard Drive can make the difference. Hope this helps

When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

Hold down the fn key and press F4 to switch the display. You may have to do this a couple of times before the display comes up.

check your add ons with google chrome, you may be able to disable some functions and that would help CPU consimption

It might have static lock up. Try taking out the battery and the 2 RAM chips thats asessable at the bottom. After doing that hold down your power button for about 30 seconds. This will drain any energy and static that may have got into the main board. After holding the power button, DO NOT PUT THE BATTERY OR CHIPS BACK IN. Just use your power plug, plug it up and see if it turns on. If it does then your good to go and can put the chips and battery back in. If it did not work then you will have to consult a pro.

Check on your operating sytem DVD or your HDD might be not reading well. ( Freezing, Hanging )

Sounds like it is overheating. Get a can of compressed air and clean out all the vents and fans. You can also use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean it. You also might want to get a laptop cooler.

try to search bluetooth look for the .exe from there you would be able.hope it helps

There are two ways.

If you bought a new SATA and get a blue screen when you install win. server 2003, you have to go to BIOS and change HD setting. (not on 1st page for sure. I have to what option you have.)

Or

You have to get it from HP, but I don't know whether they have or they will give you for free.
