How do i drag icons in 8.1
Julie,
Icons are different then the tiles.
Tiles can just be dragged with the holding down of the "Left mouse" button.
Before you can do that with the Desktop Icons your create, you have to turn off "Auto-Arrange". Left Click on your Desktop, and under "View" un-check the option for "Auto arrange icons". You can move them around at will then.
Enjoy!

You can pull the key from the keyboard by wiggling it back and forth and pulling gently, like a loose tooth. One it's out, you can position the key back onto the spot where it belongs and then push it on. It may take a few tries, but as long as the connector isn't broken, you should be able to get it back on.
My HP keeps overheating
The fan may not be working. Turn it on and place your ear near one of the bottom vents. BE SURE THAT YOUR HAIR IS OUT OF THE WAY IF IT'S LONG. List for a fan sound. If you don't hear one then your fan may be gummed up with fabric fibers or dust. You'll need to blow out the fan with compressed air (canned) or replace the fan if it's dead.

HP G72-253NR Laptop - Using an External Keyboard
I think you have a broken USB keyboard or USB port. Simply plugging in the keyboard should be enough to make it work. First try the keyboard in a different USB port. Test the caps lock to see if the LED goes on and off. Also try a different keyboard and also test it in a different computer.
