It may be that you are not using the correct code for yourparticular Bose component. I would recommend trying all of these codes: 761,664, 656, and 639. If you are still not able to use your DISH remote to controlthe volume of your Bose component, try doing a power scan. Press and hold theAUX button on the top of your DISH remote until all the mode buttons on the toplight up, then release. Press 2 then * on the number pad, press the powerbutton at the top of the remote, then keep pressing the up button on theremote. Continue doing this until your Bose unit turns off, once it has, stoppressing the up button and press the pound (#) button. Check that the code works by trying several differentfunctions on the remote to make sure it properly operates your Bose component.Keep in mind that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment.

I have a new Dish Network DVR hooked up to a Bose
This would be a difficult one to solve indeed. I have a dish network DVR also and it is hooked up to a Sony surround sound reciever via optical cable and I have never had this issue. I would think this issue would not be solvable. I would check the dolby digital settings on the Dish Network reciever. You could try changing the Dolby Digital/PCM settings and see if changing them makes a difference. There could also be a setting on the Bose that you could try but i am not familar with the Bose system you have and would need to look up the instruction manual online. Let me know if changing the settings on the reciever amkes a difference.
My bose wave radio II remote is not working. I
It will work without the remote, but can ve very unconfortable. If you have a webcam or digital camera or cell phone with camera, then point it to the small lamp in front of the remote and press any button. If the light blinks or keeps on, then the problem may be on the radio receptor. If light is dark, then take it to an electronics store an ask for an INFRARED LED DIODE replacement. This should work well.

I determined the remote needed to be replaced and have done so. I also did not realize that your site wanted to charge 20$ to participate or I would not have bothered you in the first place.
Bose solo won't turn on. Unplug to reset works but takes countless retries. Tries several outlets with same results. One it turns on it works, until turned off or auto off for a few minutes.
I have the Bose Solo 10 and it did the same as yours. I did all of the suggested fixes and nothing worked. I changed out the IR sensor and it worked for a while and it went out again.I'm an electronic engineer so I unplugged it and did the reset and got the acknowledgement tone. That told me the the units power supply and electronics was good because it does a self check when you reset it. I took the IR board and did a bench test on it. The board worked on the bench. When I put it back in I checked the voltage on pin 7 of the IR sensor, no voltage. I checked the voltage on the main PCB and I had 3.2volts. Checked the ribbon connector and the voltage was getting to the connector on the IR board but it had a bad connection from the ribbon to the board. I put a jumper from the ribbon to the IR board and it's been working all day with no problem. I checked and a lot of people are having the same problem the we experienced. Bose should have a recall on the connector on the IR board because you cannot turn this unit on manually. When you have this problem you can't do anything with this unit because it is too big for a paper weight. The next best thing to do is replace the IR board because I could not find the proper connector that's on the IR board.
Bose Acoustimass 10 basic connection issue on board?
If there are just two wires on the transformer secondary, they are interchangeable. Just to make sure, look on the transformer for markings identifying the wires. If the wires are the same color, have the same terminal connectors (probably so; you said the plug goes on ether way), and the same ID marking on the transformer, they definitely are interchangeable. You could check the end of the plug to see which side has the holes for the pins, then match that to the base of the pin connector on the board if it has a base instead of just two bare pins sticking up.
I'm sure somebody's already told you "after the horse is gone" that you should have taken a picture before disassembly, but that doesn't help now. : )
Bose v35 Sound plays but no picture.
If you have already tried using different HDMI cables and testing the system on different TVs with no success, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the input settings on your TV: Make sure you have selected the correct input on your TV. Sometimes, the input setting may have changed accidentally, or the TV may have multiple HDMI inputs, so it is worth double-checking.
Check the output settings on your Bose V35: Make sure the output settings on your Bose V35 are correct. Go to the "Video" settings on your Bose V35 and make sure the "HDMI Out" is selected as the output option.
Power cycle your equipment: Try turning off your TV, Bose V35, and any other devices connected to the system. Unplug everything from the power source, wait a few minutes, and then plug everything back in and turn it on again.
Reset your Bose V35: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your Bose V35 to its default settings. To do this, turn off your Bose V35 and unplug it from the power source. Then, press and hold the "Source" and "Setup" buttons on your Bose V35 remote control for about 10 seconds until you see "Resetting System" on the display.
If you have tried all of these steps and are still not able to get a picture, it may be a hardware issue and you should consider contacting Bose customer support or a professional repair service for further assistance.
Remote control for Bose Wave Radio
Based on the serial number you provided, the manufacture date of your radio is indeed the 263rd day of 2001, which is September 20, 2001.
Regarding the remote control, the AWR-1G4 model does not come with a remote control as it was designed to be a simple, easy-to-use radio without any advanced features like remote control. However, there are aftermarket remote controls available that are compatible with this model.
It is not necessary to find a remote control with a model number ending in 1G4, as the remote control may have a different model number or may be a universal remote control that is compatible with multiple models. You can search for a remote control that is compatible with the AWR-1G4 by looking for one that works with the same brand (in this case, the brand is likely to be "Acoustic Research") and has similar features.
Keep in mind that not all aftermarket remote controls may work perfectly with your radio, so it's best to read reviews and make sure the remote control you choose is well-reviewed and reliable.
Mute not working on sound bar remote
Hi,
Please double check that you've restarted all devices involved and then repeat this again. Also, please make sure that the volume buttons aren't stuck in the down position. Also, please make sure that soundbar isn't blocking tv sensor.
You might need to re-setup your bose soundbar.
Thank you.
