You might plug in a USB wireless adapter or NIC. That might get you to the internet where you can download the needed drivers for the internal NIC. Or you can look in Device Manager, see what NIC is listed that needs drivers, download that driver set to another computer, then transfer the drivers to the Compaq. In Device Manager, add the drivers for the NIC, directing the search to the USB device where the drivers are located.

I want install tata photon+
hi...
many mobile phone companies don't provide drivers for linux.
But there is a software i would personally recommend to you. Actually its not a software, its a shell script.
Name of the software is "Sakis3g". It can connect to mobile phones and other mobile devices which can be detected by linux kernel. You can use IR, Bluetooth, even USB cable to connect to your device.
You can use this software for the following
- connect to mobile devices by IR, bluetooth, USB Cable
- Send and receive files between computer and device
- Access Internet from Device by Dial Up Networking
- Browse files on Mobile device
- Mount the mobile device on a user specified mount point or communication port.
- usually it mounts connected mobile device to /dev/rfcomm0. Through this port, you can communicate with the device .
- Connect to USB Modem (Like Reliance DataConnect, TATA Photon, IDEA Netsetter etc.)
- ability to connect to any locked/unlocked USB Internet Modems (Zero Devices)
fully automated connection setup. No manual input is needed except to specify connection name.
http://www.sakis3g.org/versions/latest/i386/sakis3g.gzYou can find more details and download Sakis3g from this address
http://www.linuxconfig.org/mobile-broadband-connection-and-sakis3ghope this will help you to solve your issue.

Sound doesn't work under linux
We'd need to know what computer you're using to be able to help here, Linux sometimes needs specific drivers (and sometimes has no available driver at all) for devices to function. The best bet is to look up what sound device your using, like a sound card, or what motherboard your computer has, and do a google search for that device and "linux driver".You should find what you're looking for, if it exists, when you do that.

Register with Sites Like Monster Jobs and search for jobs there. There are plenty of Jobs available for RHCE and RHCT profiles.

How to download and install apache on linux5
Hi Follow the below procedures.
How to install and start the Apache or httpd service under Linux
by Milind
Q. How do I install and start the Apache or httpd web server under Fedora core or Cent OS?
A. Apache HTTP Server is a free software/open source web server for Unix-like systems and other oses.
Apache features configurable error messages, DBMS-based authentication databases, and content negotiation. It is also supported by several graphical user interfaces (GUIs) which permit easier, more intuitive configuration of the server.
Use rpm command to install Apache under Linux. You can also use up2date or yum command to install the same.
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Fedroa Core/Cent OS Linux
Type the following command if you are using Fedora or Cent OS Linux:
# yum install httpd
Now, start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Type the following command
# up2date httpd
Start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Debian Linux httpd/Apache installation
Use apt-get command:
# apt-get install apache2
# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Task: Verify that port 80 is open
# netstat -tulpn | grep :80
You can also install httpd from CDROM with rpm command:
# rpm -ivh httpd*
Configuration
Your server is started but you need to configure and use Apache as per your requirement. /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (RHEL/Cent OS/Fedora Core Linux) or /etc/apache2/httpd.conf (Debian / Ubuntu Linux) configuration file. Use text editor such as vi to edit file. This file is very well documented or read official Apache configuration documentation for more information.

REGEDIT
regedit - to disable this file from running, delete it. if you want to turn off the registry, boot computer into safe mode (tapping f8 key while booting). if you need to manually uninstall a program, do an F3 search in the registry for the program name as a search string. there can be as many as 500 registry entries for the program... if you adopt the f3, delete, enter, f3, delete, enter, you may be able to uninstall the program's registry entry in as little as 15 minute to 1 hour... best of luck, I am not responsible if you delete a wrong value and crash your computer .... heheheeheheh.
