in order to connect to youtube you need to sign into your youtube account. You can use youtube just fine without having a account with google but it will take few days of usage for your xbox to start to recognize what channels you watch. On microsoft explorer or google chrome browser when I type in youtube.com/activate I get a page from google that asks for a code. I would make sure you are typing in the correct address as well. There could be several causes. If you’ve managed to run other appliances with the same voltage through these power outlets without them turning off then it won’t be the outlets themselves.

It could be the power cable; try swapping them to see if this affects the frequency (10 mins vs ‘very quickly’). If this makes no difference then it won’t be them that’s at fault.
