Flash stuck

It sounds like the flash up switch is stuck closed so that even though the flash is down the camera thinks it is up.Slide a business card under the left side (the rewind side if you are old enough to remember film cameras) of the flash when it is down to free the latch and remove the two screws on the bottom of the flash so you can pop off the cover. You can then see the switch on the release side of the flash at the pivot. The flash up switch contact that looks like a crooked finger should be above the post. Gently reposition it and check the action of the switch by manually freeing the latch.Be very careful. There may be over 300 volts across the two wires that are soldered to the flash tube. If you touch them you will get a nasty shock.

NIKON D3100 battery flickers while charging

sounds like you got a lemon battery. if it is less than a year old it should still be under warranty - contact Nikon and see if they will replace it at no charge

My camera flash when on the shatter speed does not increase above 200

The fastest shutter speed with flash is 1/200 of a second. Due to the design of the shutter, the entire frame is not exposed at faster speeds. See the box "Shutter Speeds Available with the Built-in Flash" in the "Flash Mode" section of the manual (page 70 in my copy).

Computer won't recognize d3100

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

I have a Nikon d3100 an lately when I am trying to shoot a picture usin the flash, it either will not take photo at all or it takes several attempts. What could be the problem?

Check to see if you have 'red eye reduction' turned on. That will delay the camera firing as the bright white light on the front of the camera makes the subject's iris get smaller to reduce the reflection off the blood vessels in the eye

Battery says not for this camera but it is the right battery

Is it a genuine Nikon battery? Almost all off brand batteries won't work in this, even if they work in the point and shoots

Zoom and aperture problem

What lens do you have on the camera? Many zoom lenses have a variable maximum aperture. This means that the maximum aperture varies depending on the focal length. If you set the lens to its maximum aperture and then zoom, the aperture may change.

My Nikon d3100 only takes black photo's when the lens finder is working but the lcd is showing a black screen but still has icons so what is wrong?

sounds very much like a CCD unit failure. This will require another trip back for repairs and now that it is out of warranty it is going to cost plenty.
