Nikon d3100 stuck on flash mode
What do you mean by flash mode?
Have you read the manual how to use the camera?
If nothing from there helps, try connecting it via USB and check if there is firmware update. If even that doesn't help, try acessing menu and doing hard reset from there.
How do i unmute a video on my Nikon
Can anyone help me.
So I recorded an important interview on the weekend with a NIKON D3300 but didn't know it was on mute instead of Auto microphone..
Is there a way that I can unmute this video while editing please??
Built-in flash does not work even in a MASP mode
This often depends on the shooting mode you are using. It is often on a selection wheel. Say you are in Fireworks mode the flash will not fire. If you get out of a special mode back into normal camera I am pretty sure your flash will not be greyed out.
How to unlock mirror d3100
1) Make sure your battery is at least 50% charged.
2) Open the menus and go to the tab with the wrench.
3) Highlight "Lock mirror up for cleaning".
4) Follow the triangular arrow to the right and lock the mirror up (don't worry that it is already locked up).
5) Turn the camera's power off. Wait a few seconds and power it back on. The mirror should release.

Will take pictures for a short time, then why does pushing the trigger have no response?
Hi Robert,
I am thinking of one cause but first you will have to answer a simple question for your self before proceeding.
"How old is your camera?"
If it is old enough, the problem you are encountering is technical and you will surrender your camera to a qualified technician/ camera service center for proper check.
Digital cameras are electronic equipment; thus have component parts such as capacitors, resistors etc that are almost dead. the first time you power on, they work fine but as the heat builds up, those parts stop working completely. that is when you cannot take any more pictures. Only trained technicians can fix that kind of problems.

Dropped and now all exposures are black.
Oops. that hurts. But I'm afraid it won't be worth repairing this one. I already saw the body been sold for less than 300 euro new. And I think the repair centre will ask more for opening and closing this one. Then you still have a used body.
Start saving or perhaps you have an insurance that will pay a new one for you?
How to remove stucked lens cap
It depends what lens cap you have some lens caps you pinch off
Others you pull off some screw off its the easiest thing you can do on the camera you should have had a a1 filter screwed on before the lens cap then all you would have done is unscrew it all.
Then again you may have to take it to Nikon on Wilshire
