universal key for windows xp sp 2

There is no such thing as a universal key for Windows XP.You can obtain a legal key by contacting Microsoft. A cheaper solution is to find a reseller that has a sealed copy.

pls help me.
the xp setup does not start automatically caldera dr dos opens only
Posted by brajesh... on
The problem is hard enough for beginners . First :
1.DR DOS is used by ASUS . DR DOS isn't MS-DOS (Microsoft), just 99% compatible with it . You have access with it on whole HDD+cd/dvd but , because drdos will enable only 8MB RAM you can't install winnt.exe from i386 . There are at least 2 solutions :
a. if drdos is enable because u reseted BIOS try to change bios according to a better result (avoiding Caldera) and start a nice windows installation;
b. u may use another desktop/laptop until the first restart (in installation) ; u must try to use a computer with ~motherboard for best results.
Don't forget that DR DOS Caldera is almost every time used on ASUS MBs with all on board and you must have a PS2 keyboard/mouse to use any kind of DOS . I read sometimes that DRDOS is a soft used by Microsoft which it's wrong - there isn't any link between drdos and any windows system , genuine or not .
DRDOS problem might appear because it's a soft put on ASUS MB cd driver and , sometime, might be on a BIOS ROM .When u will boot with the MB cd driver in this kind of problem might occur .
Other way Caldera may appear is when u have a windows cd made careless with NERO and caldera will appear no matter the MB .

"microsoft visual c++ runtime library
R6002-Floating point not loaded"
What do i have to do??

Causes of Runtime Error R6002
Several causes exist behind this error. One of the most prominent ones is a broken link. This link apart from causing the run time error 06002 can also produce other errors like the computer not responding to any instruction at times. If a software has not been properly installed it can also produce such errors. Apart from that, use of internet without any anti-virus software can make your computer applications get infected with spyware and viruses. Such viruses can produce missing links inside your registry causing such errors.
Why are these errors caused? Many computer users are just not aware of the reasons resulting in these errors and what are the solutions to get rid of these errors. Remember, these errors can be solved very simply, and they are not going to cost you money. Usually many people exercise the option of getting professional technicians to resolve these problems. But this is not necessary. Through following the simple procedures suggested below you will be able to eliminate the error r6002.
If you take time and start noticing, you will find that the runtime errors are due to corrupted or damaged registry. You must know that the registry is the most importance place which is a storehouse of all the data, about both the software and hardware installed in the PC. When you uninstall software or remove a device there may be some traces of such actions left in the registry and manually it will be impossible to remove them. You should be having knowledge of computers to do this, since it is not advisable to access the registry without this knowledge and manually delete these files. A wrong move can result in damaging the PC irreversibly.
Therefore the only method to fix the runtime error r6002, along with many other errors, you should use the registry cleaner. With a registry cleaner you can repair the runtime error r6002 all by yourself, without seeking help of technician. This way you can save money and time, and you will also know the action to be taken next time when you encounter such errors.
Using the registry cleaner should be optimized with the antivirus cleaner, and if you program in such a manner that both the virus scanning and registry cleaner can take place simultaneously, for which purpose you should schedule these activities on the computer, and ensure that at that particular time the computer is switched on, without your botheration of checking them, they will do their job on their own, leaving you to attend to your work.

Posted by srinivas32... on
mpnotify.exe is an error that comes up When you manually log on to your Microsoft Windows XP-based computer with a user name and a password, the Winlogon.exe process may prematurely end the Mpnotify.exe process. The Mpnotify.exe process hosts network provider .dll files. Specifically, the Mpnotify.exe process calls the NPLogonNotify function of the network provider .dll file. Therefore, the network provider may not function as expected.

Ok ... I have a solution to this problem that works under XP 32-bit, but am stuck as far as XP/Vista 64-bit is concerned, since I dual-boot with XP 32-bit and Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Solution under XP 32-bit >>> Download and install a utility called 'Unlocker' (latest version 1.8.7) from http://www.ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/.
Select the problem files on the desktop, right-click and select 'unlocker' option from the menu. You will be asked what action you want to take; just select 'delete' and OK. Problem solved!
Unfortunately, the same can't be done under 64-bit, 'cos 'Unlocker' does not come in a 64 bit version. There is another utility called 'LockHunter' which is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Using LockHunter (as far as this particular problem is concerned), all I can do is right-click and select "What is locking this file?" to see the obvious. There are further options under this, but in this case they are grayed out with a message that says "there are no processes locking this file or folders" ... so I can't take any action to get rid of the files.
These problem files only come when getting torrent files (trackers), which I think originate from that site.
Btw, using the command prompt (even booting in Safe Mode or administrator mode) as I have seen someone suggest does not work
So there ... any one have a solution to this under 64-bit?
10x in advance.

Hey guys, someone finally solved this annoyance.
In the command prompt, from the directory that the "undeleteable" file is stuck in, try this command:
del [insert start of filename here]* <---wildcard
The trick was that the file ends with a space which makes it hard for windows to deal with for some reason. Try this, it definitely works. I was stuck with one of those [Torrentsworld.net] files and...
...worked for me!!!
