MLANG DLL. IS MISSING

This happened with MS Windows some times if you don't want to say..it's often :)

Okay, this what you should do:

Download the missing file from here: http://www.dlldump.com/cgi-bin/testwrap/downloadcounts.cgi?rt=count&path=dllfiles/M/MLANG.DLL

Then, follow the instruction below:
How to install/uninstall MLANG.DLL? 1. Unarchive the package and use the files from Release folder if you're running windows 9x/Me or Release Unicode if you are running windows 2000/XP
2. Copy DLL files in system32 folder [C:\WINDOWS\system32]
3. Click on Start > Run

  • To install the dll files, type: regsvr32 MLANG.DLL
  • To uninstall the dll files, type: regsvr32 -u MLANG.DLL
  • run.gif 4. In the end, you should receive a message saying that your file was successfully installed/uninstalled

P.S.: If this information was helpful, please rate this solution.

Can I download Service Pack 3 on my computer

Mary can you confirm what your operating system currently is.because the category doesn't match Windows 7. Also if Windows 7 download centre only has service pack 1 it probably does not have service pack 3 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows.aspx http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/service-packs-download#sptabs=win81

    Trouble shooting

ya its asking the windows 98 cd key
    try this
Follow the steps below to locate your Windows 98 product key code from the Windows 98 registry.
Difficulty: Easy Time Required: Less than 10 minutes Here's How:
    1. Click on Start and then Run.
    2. In the text box in the Run window, type regedit and click OK. This will open the Registry Editor program.
Note: Do not make any changes to any entry anywhere in Registry Editor to avoid causing serious system issues. These steps only direct you to view entries, not to make changes.
    3. Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder under My Computer and click on the (+) sign next the folder name to expand the folder.
    4. In the resulting folders, locate and click on the (+) sign next to Software to expand this folder.
    5. In the resulting folders, locate and click on the (+) sign next to Microsoft to expand this folder.
    6. In the resulting folders, locate and click on the (+) sign next to Windows to expand this folder.
    7. In the resulting folders, locate and click on the Current Version folder.
    8. In the results that appear in the window on the right, locate the ProductID.
    9. The numbers and letters on this line represent the Windows 98 product key. The product key should be formatted like xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx - five sets of five letters and numbers.
    10. Write this product key down exactly as it is found here for use when reinstalling Windows 98.
Note: If even one character is written down incorrectly, the installation of Windows 98 that you attempt with this product key will fail. Be sure to transcribe the key exactly.
    11. Close Registry Editor without making any changes.
    Tips:
    1. If your system was purchased with Microsoft Windows pre-installed, and you have not reinstalled it or upgraded it yourself, the product key found by the steps on this page will only find the generic product key that your computer manufacturer used to install the operating system. This product key will not work when attempting to reinstall Windows. In this case, you must use the unique product key that is on the sticker attached to your computer case.
    2. rate me solved if its helps thx

    Windows 98se video drivers

not for 98SE i believe. a great OS but MS most likey deleted those from their servers long ago. if you can find someone else who has a system with 98SE you may be able to copy and install them from them. someone who is really old and smart "CE" maybe could program them:) for you but, you should have backed up your system and drivers before this repair was needed

    I have HP-Pavilion DV6 3017TU notebook PC running

I don't think this will work, there are no drivers available for XP on that Notebook. Experience tells me also, that HP is very restricted in delivering drivers for not supported OS. Remember XP is out of Support, so a vendor needs no more support for such OS.

Well, What's a backdoor trojan? If i restarted or restored the pc

A backdoor trojan is a bad. They are a sort of virus with the capability of sending information back to the controller of it. It can be downloaded and can turn on without you knowing it and then it will follow whatever instructions it is given. The information it can send out is worse than any damage it does to your system. Passwords, bank info, credit card numbers. It can even email your contacts using your account.

System restore does record and copy these, and you need to turn system restore off during your scan and removal process. System restore does not allow virus software to remove these files.

First, update your virus program and then turn off your internet connection. Then turn off system restore by going to your control panel>System>and then click on the System restore tab, usually in the back. Close those windows and and start your virus scans. Follow the instructions after it locates the virus. If you have the option of deleting the virus, do that rather than put it in quarantine.

Since you have a program running that you don't even know about, it can certainly put a drag on your system and slow things down. Your Windows OS is so old, I can't believe it is still running. Congrats, everyone I know had a fatal crash by this time. If you need further help, please leave a comment. Thanks for your question.

I was writing a blog to a newspaper website and I would be half way through the blog, then the site would drop out

I would recommend composing your blog entry in Word or another offline text editor and then pasting it into the Blog when you have completed the entry. That way you can spell check offline and you can save a copy offline as well. This should save you loosing your entries due to the site timing out.
