Carb trouble not enough gas
If your not getting enough fuel to the cylinders, start with the obvious from the fuel tank forward...
1- make sure the is fuel... Top up tank.
2-change fuel filter (with John Deere clear plastic filter) that way you can physically see the fuel in the filter.
3. Fuel pump, and hoses... Pull off the hose going to the carburetor from the fuel pump, so that it disconnected from the fuel pump side only.. Get a container of fuel put the hose pump hose in the container of fuel, get some to crank over the tractor and see if it starts / draws up the fuel out of the container... If the tractor starts you could have a faulty fuel pump, or fuel lines... Or the small hose connected to the crankcase could be disconnected..
4. Open the bowl on the carb, see if there's fuel present, and if there's any debris, if so maybe theirs something blocking the fuel from the needle and seat, (also gentle move the needle and seat open and close to ensure the needle is not seized.
