Besides checking to see if its has been muted witch is the obvious, I would strongly feel that this is the Amp inside the tv that has the issue. Things to
check to see if its that amp are:
1.Try a tape
2.Hook up a dvd player and try that
3. some of these have headphone jacks try
plugging in some headphones.
If you
hear no sound in these circumstances then you have a amp that has blown. To fix a amp would be
around $70 bucks for the part and labor? Well you see where its going and that is to the bank, most people would just have bought a new tv at this point.
