Yamaha DXR15 15" Active Speaker Questions & Answers
No HF & weak LF response in a Yahama DXR-15 powered speaker
This unit has a class D switching amplifier which is complex enough to be unfixable by you unless you know what you're doing. It would seem from your diagnostic report (dodgy HF LF response) that you're not in any way a qualified bench tech and all you can do with this item is break it further. My advice - since it's still covered under warranty being that it's rather new, return it for a no cost repair at the store where you bought it.
How do I connect a Yamaha MW12CX mixer to a Yamaha Stagepas 500?
- Connect the output of the Yamaha MW12CX mixer to the input of the Stagepas 500 using a standard 1/4" instrument cable or an XLR cable. Connect the output of the mixer to the "LINE IN" or "MIC/LINE IN" jacks of the Stagepas 500, depending on what type of output signal you're sending from the mixer.
- Set the levels on the mixer and the Stagepas 500. Turn down the master volume on the Stagepas 500 and set the individual channel levels to zero. On the Yamaha MW12CX mixer, set the faders for channels 1 and 2 to the unity gain position (usually around 0 dB).
- Set the input mode on the Stagepas 500 to "LINE" or "MIC/LINE" for channels 1 and 2. This will ensure that the Stagepas 500 is receiving the correct input signal.
- Adjust the levels on the mixer and the Stagepas 500. Slowly turn up the volume on the Stagepas 500 while monitoring the levels on the mixer. Make sure the levels are not too high and that there is no clipping or distortion.
- Once you have the levels set correctly, you should be able to hear the sound coming through the Stagepas 500. Adjust the EQ and other settings on the Yamaha MW12CX mixer as needed to get the sound you want.
Note: The Yamaha Stagepas 500 has two more channels available, channels 3 and 4, which can also be used for additional inputs from the Yamaha MW12CX mixer or other sources.

No sound from wireless headphones in a toyota sienna
First thing to do is check to make sure that the batteries are properly charged.
Second, make sure that you have a clear line-of-site to the IR transmitter. Infrared (IR) works the same way that your TVs remote control works - if the signal is blocked, then you will not hear any sound.
Third, make sure that you are in the rear seat of the vehicle when listening to the sound. The IR transmitter only transmits to the rear seat, so you will not hear any sound if you are sitting in the front seats. This is a common problem that i see.
Lastly, make sure that the heapdhones you purchased are compatible with your 2006 2007 2008 2009 or 2010 Toyota Sienna. Remember that some older models require RF headphones, not IR headphones. I checked http://www.audiovideo2go.com for compatibility before I purchased my headphones. They have a useful listing of all the headphones and models of vehicles they are compatible with.
