Our fax machine is beeps
On this machine, if the paper tray has been over loaded, it can cause the paper feed drive train to over drive and causing the plastic feed shafts to over twist out of their positions.These paper feed rolls and drive shaft parts would need to be replaced.Perhaps a service call would be needed to do this repair.

Hi,
First make sure that the toner you have replaced is original, good quality toner and It is not damp.
clean the cartridge and the toner drum properly. Then reinstall the cartridge properly.
Check the fuser of the printer.
If it doesn't solve your problem then you have to replace the cartridge.
FAXES ARE BEING RECEIVED BUT SEEM TO BE DROPPING
There are many different parameters to check for this problem.
Try Menu, "*" , T, to enter a soft download via internet.
To retransmission of faxes to print rerouting: menu "*", G.
One would need to have information about the servicing techinical datas changes to this machine.
If all else fails for more complicated issues place a service call on the machine.

Check menu,8,2. You may be able to print out the road map on the different menue configuration.
You should be able to print out by
selecting menu ,*, 8 and printed with Menu, "*", 1.
Not seeing the machine is difficult to see the different ways the menus are going to.
Technical parameters are different and has a different enter mode. This needs to be researched further for explination.

How do I get the confirmation page to
On the machine there should be a menu key to check the settings on the fax answer/send mode.
Scroll to the different menus and check for confirmation page, on/off = on.
Trying to clear the memory
One needs to know what they are doing when resetting memory to the machine.
When resetting the machine, one needs to consider, the loss of memory data on the copy cartridge counter in the machine.
When resetting memory a copy toner cartridge needs to be in stock with a counter reset card.
Erasing memory will wipe out the old copy/toner cartridge odometer setting, resuling in "Replace toner/cartridge" error.
Please clarify which memory area is being erased.

On this machine for black copies, the areas to check are the HVPS, The ROS, or the Print engin Board.
Most likely on this machine the HVPS can be the problem, then the ROS, then the printe engine board.
The definitions are the scanner platen is under the document feeder, the ROS is the actual laser scanner.
Taking this machine apart several times, one can also check the ground straps to the copy cartridge to make sure they are connecting to copy cartridge when it is inserted into the machine.
Error code 48
Code 48 is internet disconnect.
On the machine if the machine is set up for internet connection, turn it off. Sometimes email is turned on and the other settings are not setup correctly.
Make sure all settings are done correctly
If one is faxing make sure the phone line is connected correctly and their is a good sounding dial tone.
One area to keep in mind is a phone dial tone turning off and on.This can be a phone company issue or poor line connectors in the building, even a corroded plug on the phone receptical.
Check these areas, even replace the phone line cord with a new one.

I will look it up in the morning, I don't have that information with me at the moment, But there is a scanner calibration you can do to correct it.
You have to enter some codes and simply run white paper through the scanner to reset the values. But off hand I can't remember the exact numbers. I will get look them up and send it on here.
It is not hard to do at all. Will take about 2 or 3 minutes.
Status Code 19
Look in you menus. Your log print out is probably set to on and set to print out way to frequently. You can turn that feature off.
You can go to Xerox.com, click on Support and drivers. In the search box type in 116 then go to support and then type in Log, There should be an answer there as to how to shut off log printing. You cold also type in code 19 when you get to the support page.
All of a sudden, faxes stop coming out and the
The fax machine is trying to print fax recieved copies on the bypass feeder.
Check up the setup menu on the control console.
Fine fax recieve.
You should find a selection for fax recieved in which paper tray.
Check this area, any that have the bypass feeder, de-select it.
Make selections for 8 1/2 x 11 paper in tray one.

If I understand you right, what you send, people are receiving blank sheets?
When you try to run a copy are those blank also?
If so your problem is with the scanner. The drum should have nothing to do with sent faxes.
Unless your putting the paper in the scanner upside down. And if you ran it enough to need a drum I can't imagine that .
Incoming faxes from multiple locations jamming our machine
I believe there should be a "Clear memory", or "dump fax Memory", in the menu selection.
Press reports and scroll to machine print out. You should get a print out on the machines configuration and help menu to better assist you.
This should dump the memory so you can prepare yourself for new incoming faxex.
