Raleigh Diamondback Maravista Bicycle Questions & Answers
My bike got crushed by the garage door: back
What's the whole bike cost? Normally every part of the bike except the frame is replaceable economically - which is subjective.
Tektro brakes or equivalent - cheap; wheel - probably cheaper than a rebuild; labor - unknown.
If the frame or the brake bosses are bent - fuhgetaboudit. Take it to a Bike Shop for evaluation. They can just hang new wheels on it and see how straight everything else is.

How can i raise the handlebars on a raleigh krush 20" girls bike?
Looks like there's a push on plastic cover on the handlebar head stem. Gently pry the cover out and there will be a bolt underneath it (most likely an allen key/hex key bolt). Loosen the bolt and wriggle/twist the handlebars while adjusting the height of the bars. There will be a minimum insertion line on the shaft of the head stem - do not adjust the height above that line or there will not be enough of the shaft to lock into the front forks. Make sure that bolt is tightened up very firmly once you've made the adjustment and reinstall the plastic cover.
Inner tube size for diamondback mountain bike
Read the tire size on the sidewall of the tire and buy a tube that is the same size. Most of them are 26x1.75-2.00, but it could be 24 or even 29 depending on the size of the bike.
Bicycle seat fell apart
If you don't have a local bike shop to reassemble your seat or sell you a new one, you can probably find one to fit at Walmart or Target. A good bike shop will often give you one of better quality than you can buy at a department store, because many cyclists replace the seat with one that fits their bottom when they buy a new bike.
Can i put the chain from my raleigh mojave onto my raleigh venture 4.0
You have two things to check:
1) the tooth arrangement of the gears.
Take a measuring device and see if the sprocket gears are the same.
They do not need to have the same amount of teeth, but the teeth must be EXACTLY the same distance apart.
2) the length.
Is the chain exactly the right length?
God bless your efforts.
How to fix a noisy bicycle?
If they are indexed gears, they may need adjusting. Shift the rear gear until the chain is on the middle rear sprocket, then check to see if the gear mechanism is directly in line with the sprocket, and there is no misalignment of the chain. If it is not in line, use one of the two adjuster screws on the gear mechanism to line it up.
