the gateway of the router is actually 192.168.1.254
Then you click on home, configure, wan, then
PPP over Ethernet vcc1 under WAN IP Interfaces, then advanced at the bottom.
Click advanced at the bottom.
Under LCP settings, They call it MRU
that is the same as the MTU, which stands for Maximum Transmission Unit, and the default is 1492. some routers put in 1500, but they are rounding off. If you reset the MTU, set it to 1468, it has to go down evenly in 8's, because you are talking about shapping the data packets that are coming in. Only do this if you are connected no browse, or cant get cerrtain websites. Not all routers can handle jumbo packets, but to be honest, I have never seen an MTU issue on a netopia, and I deal with problem issues on netopias all day long.
