Can a Stanley Jump-it 600 be used to charge a battery by leaving it clamped to battery for a few hours?

It is not designed for this style application. You can jump start the car with it and use the car to charge the battery. Clean battery posts first and add distilled water to battery if needed.

My Stanley J309 300 amp battery jump starter will not recharge. When plugged in with a household cord both red lights and the one green light, light up.

You need to open the casing to access th inside components. Remove the screws on the backside, cut any stickers or labels that cover the seam. You will see a 12v voltage converter mounted to the back cover. Test it to ensure it is working properly. Is it putting out the proper voltage? If it is then check the battery to see if it has proper voltage or can hold a charge. These are the two most common problems and can be easily replaced if defective. The circuit board is less common.

Stanley Fatmax 450 Amp (Model J45TK)compressor starts and then stops right away. The charge is full showing the green LED light on.

You will likely have to open up the case to look inside. The main components will be a circuit board, a 12v power supply, a 12v air pump and a 12v rechargeable battery. It sounds like a loose connection on the air compressor pump. When you turn it on it normally vibrates and is loud. This may be enough to shake loose a wire connection. If so it should be an easy fix to crimp or solder.

2001 Cadillac Deville Northstar Engine thermostat location

4.6 Northstar V8. It is located on the rear of engine (driver side) in front. It is in the the water pump housing cover. Remove air box and intake tube and bottom radiator hose. 2 bolts(believe 10mm) on thermostat housing. These systems are a little finicky about air pockets....so fill slowly and let run at idle until operating temp and let cool and check level.....fill as needed and repeat if needed.

Peugeot expert central locking not working

A faulty central locking system might be due to several reasons, such as a blown fuse, faulty solenoid, or electrical wiring issues. Also, it's good to remember the fault might not be with the central car locking system but the key fob instead; over time, fobs require battery changes.
