Hrm ... run a program called malwarebytes. It does a way better job in finding an potential virus/malware on your system. There is probably a registry that is preventing you from browsing correctly. Run malwarebytes and hopefully it will alleviate your issue

Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.

You have to remove the palm rest ( the top part that has the keyboard and touch pad) to access the 13 screws securing the keyboard and shield which are underneath the palm rest. This involves removing the bottom access cover, rear caps, remove ten screws that are marked with a small P on base of computer. Remove two screws that are marked with a K. Remove two flat-head screws in the battery compartment. Then flip the system over. Remove the two screws at the top of the palm rest. Pry the palm rest loose with your fingertips, starting at one edge. Flip open the latch on the keyboard ribbon cable connector, and remove the cable. Lift the latch on the touchpad ribbon cable connector, and remove the cable. Remove the palm rest.

Sounds like you've tried everything except a complete reinstall. If there is information you need off that computer the hard drive will need to be taken out and plugged into another PC as a second hard drive then all can be copied. Then try a complete reinstall and good luck with that. If any problems doing a reinstall i would look at the ram. Cheers from Scott and plz vote

Turn it off. Symptoms suggest hard drive failure. Use of s taking a physical battering. This may damage data beyond recovery. The drive Take it to a shop. Your other choice: Oddly, freezing the hard drive sometimess temporaily fixes the drive long enough to recover data. Replacement of the hard drive is the likely fix. Unless you want to try to freeze the HD and copy data off of it quickly, only a shop specializing in data recovery might recover such. Hopefully youhave backed up data to another drive. You might want to consider a new laptop, after you eye the possible cost of repair and/or data recovery.

Always include the version of Windows in your posts. Could have been a RAM problem if you got 4 beeps and you seem to have resolved that by reseating the modules. But the RAM error may have caused some corruption to a file on the hard drive. Assuming the diagnostics pass, you can reboot and press F8 before Windows starts to load. Select Last Known Good. If that gets you to the desktop without errors, shut down normally and reboot normally, and you should be good to go. You may also want to run chkdsk on the hard drive: Click: Start>run Type in: chkdsk C: Click OK Accept the offer to run chkdsk at next boot and then reboot. chkdsk will run before Windows loads. It may take a long time, depending on size of your hard drive, so be patient.

the only thing to be aware of is the voltage cannot exceed that required for the laptop . for example if the solar panel puts out 12 volts you will need an adaptor before the usb connection to reduce the power to the voltage for the laptop
