How use epson l800 for sublimation ink
Hi.
There are things that you need to understand when using third party inks on CISS Ready Printers. Epson L800 is built to use inks manufactured by Epson and therefore using other inks than specified will automatically void the manufacturer's warranty on the device.
Sublimation Inks are heat sensitive inks but it can be used to most of the Epson Printers on the market. If your L800 is already running using Dye Inks now, you may need to "flush" the Tanks, Tubes and Print Nozzles to avoid ink clogging. Mixing different types of ink is the most common mistake resulting to printhead clogging and by not flushing, you may as well encounter this. If you can buy a new CISS Tanks and cartridges fitted to L800, you may also want to do so to make flushing easier. You only need to flush the nozzles if you replace the CISS Kit.
Flush using a Syringe with the tube on the part where the needle is supposed to be placed. To flush the nozzle, press the "ink" button on the printer. As the cartridges move to the center, pull the power plug to shut down the device. Remove all the cartridges to expose the nozzles. Move the cartridge holder a to the right enough not to lock it in its terminal. Put a paper towel in the base of the printer and move back the cartridge holder placing it on top of the paper towel.
Fill your syringe with cleaning solution and securely attach the other end of the tube to the nozzle. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SPILL cleaning solution to any circuitry in the cartridge holder. Squeeze the syringe slowly to flush out the remaining inks on the printhead. 3 to 5 ml would do the flushing. Repeat the flushing to all of the nozzles. Again, be careful with the circuits.
After flushing, remove the paper towel and clean up the base of the printer.
Load your new (or flushed) CISS Kit into position.
After installation, it is necessary to conduct initial setup to rerun the ink from Tanks to tubes to cartridges and to printhead. After initial setup, a nozzle check and cleaning would also refine the quality of the print.
If you ever encounter ink-clogging on your nozzles again, the flushing will also help you do the trick unless your printhead already ran out.
I hope this helps.

Error code 978
Error message "86.00E4, EIO 1Error" on HP8150DN. How to solve this problem? Thank you.
I have error 997
CHECK THE INK CARRIAGE IS MOVING ACROSS TO HOME POSITION. THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY THE INK CLEANING PROCESS NOT LOWERING THE LOWER TANK PROPERLY. IF YOU REMOVE THE RIGHT HAND COVER YOU WILL SEE THE CLEANING UNIT. THERE IS A WHITE SHAFT WITH A CROSS HEAD SLOT YOU CAN TURN TO LOWER IT AND THEN REBOOT THE PRINTER WITH LUCK IT WILL GET RID OF THE CODE. HOPE THIS HELPS. ANDY
When the carriage moved to the right, the carriage did not stop at the HP. Or, the carriage scan check failed.

I would call your vendor. Or if you bought the sawgrass technologies ink, give tech support a call and have them help you download the necessary ICC profile for your printer. Often they can walk you through setup. You will need to delete the current one you son installed.
