Basslink has no output, but Power LED and Servo LED always on.

Hi,

One or more of the DC to DC outputs might be bad. Check the
/- 54v on the main PCB and the /-15v on the switching controller PCB.
Losing one side of the 15v will cause the limit comparator to rail and force the servo protection, even with no input signal.

I would get a test light and see if the remote line is still working. Otherwise, yes you probably fried it. Doesn't take much in car audio to fry an amp.

what are you talking about unit01, you talk too much but isn't revealing the main prob. it's the Electronic board that is deffective that's why it's turned on, but no sound, because the board of the sub is not operating anymore, maybe a busted capacitor or IC. that's why. ok? don't listen to unit01, it's a non sense talks lol

My cars battery died, and when i turned the car on finally the head unit and my infinity bass link didnt turn on

Check the fuse in your car's fuse panel. If it is burnt then change. If it is still good, check the fuse on the head unit and amp.

Sub is blowing fuses!! :(

The issue is most likely a short in the amp internal circutry where power is essentially flowing without resistance acrosss the short. You may or may not have sound or crackling noise as it depends on where the short is.

If you are electronically inclined, I suggest the folliowing:

- disconnect all power and open the amp up
- look for any burn marks around the circut board and parts.
- first focus in on the area where the power comes in - see if any diodes (black cylinders with stripes on them) are burnt / cracked
- next have a look at all the MOSFETS. These should be 3-legged components and will likely be mounted to the shell or heatsink. Look for any burn marks or cracks on these.
- also look for any wire or component that may be shorting other components. Generally all wires should have shielding and all components should be soldered firmly. Anything crossing other components could be a problem.

If you find any burnt/cracked components, they will need to be replaced.

Here is a sample image showing the MOSFET chips to the top and bottom on the aluminum rail.

Hi,

Does the servo led stay on? If so, you might have a fractured solder joint. Inspect the switch control PCB for fractured solder joints and check the Positive and Negative 15v outputs on the same board.

Basslink works for a few seconds after i turn on

Hello, check the +15v and -15v on the Switching Power Supply Control board. If one or both are missing, it is probably Q117 for +15v and Q118 for -15v. If one is missing the limit comparator will rail to one side and cause the auto variable volume control to trip the servo protection.
