The date and time are stored with every image. Any photo editing program should be able to show you that data (and a LOT more); look for something like "image info" or "EXIF data". If you want the data printed with the picture, refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and the printer, you may be able to display the date and time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
Need to activate date/time stamp
In playback mode, press DISP/BACK to select a playback display format. This will turn the Information display on, which will show you the date/time the picture was taken.
This camera does not have a Time/Date Stamp that actually stays on the picture like some cameras do. Instead, the Time/Date Stamp is included in the Image File Properties, and can be viewed or modified from any Windows PC. I’m happy to help further over the phone at

Try a new cable or usb port on your computer. Remember to have the camera powered on. Also, try this with the computer off, then turn on with the camera on and plugged in.
