This won't work, that is only to play the disc's and tapes. You'll need to go to a company that does that or buy a VHS to DVD converter.

First, I am assuming that you have the internet connected at your house and I am assuming that you have a wireless access point or a router with Ethernet connections on it. If you do not have these, then you cannot connect to the internet. On most smart TV's they have a "settings" or similarly named menu item, where you can connect to your home wireless system. Select this and then scroll down the menu until you fine something that says internet or wireless or even quick setup. From there you just select wireless, type in your access password and it should work. All this will be explained in the owners manual for your smart TV.

Somewhere on the front there is a small round hole. Straigten a paper clip and push it into the hole. The drawer will release and push out where you can manually retract it fully and remove the disk. Some machines require you to remove the outer case to manually unlock the drawer, if yours is that type unplug it from the electric outlet prior to taking the case off. It is always a good idea to disconnect the power before working on any electronic device.

You are confused. If your Philips TV cannot tune digital channels, you will need a set top box (STB or converter) to accomplish it. The antenna connects to the STB and the STB connects to the R-W-Y inputs on the rear of the TV. Performing a channel search on the STB will cause digital channels to appear on the TV.

Might no be a fuse, might be a bad capacitor on the power board. There are a lot of things that can be wrong. You are correct about the fuse not looking like a conventional fuse too.
