Connect the RCA cables ( red, white, yellow cables) to the necessary jacks o the DVD player and tv..the DVD player should have an "AUX" input amongst the other inputs eg DVD,USB etc..this allows you to play sound from the TV through the DVD HT

This problem is more likely a problem from a particular disc. try various other discs if the problem persists then the problem is most likely a firmware issue. Check the disc and get back to me.

Possible that the power system is damaged or that the safety fuse is blown. It is important that the set be opened to check this out to confirm. If so replace with the same rating.
Otherwise the power supply unit is faulty , check the transformer and the secondary stages.

You have to make sure the content is supported by your unit. In most cases you can only use music and picture files not video.

put the player into standby then hold down the stop button until 'unlocked' appears

select rating on lock menu then press play input password when asked if you forgot password use 210499 and press enter enter it again and press enter to verify password you can select rating of lock 1 to 8 . one is the most restricting option.. if you select unlock the dvd has no parental control on.

can you get the menu up on the tv screen?ask the place you bought it from.take it back and ask them to show you how

Go to settings, Audio options, if your dvd has something called "Semi Karaoke", turn it the %#$% off... It should do the trick. That annoyed me for months, until i discovered it, gonna share this with you all

Is may have cut the vioice coil. In this case it might be replaced (the voice coil inside the speaker) by a technician (it depends on your area, since there no many left). Just in case the problem isn't so big, open the box (usually unscrew the scews around the speaker) and try to locate the 2 cables at the speaker. Are they connected firmly at the speaker's connectors or anyone is gone? In case you can use a multimeter, it's a good idea to measure (at ohm scale) the speaker itself (disconected from the cables). If you have no reading the voice coil is cut-off. A good reading is something between 3-12Ohms.

Assuming your TV has RCA analog audio out, you could run it to the LG's AUX input. Or get it from the cable box (better quality).
