Whirlpool washer spin cycle drum banging on side
Well you have done everything that you can do and expertly tested and diagnosed. The problem is doing all the towels together. The only way to fix is mix towels with other laundry or buy a front loader because the tumbling action evens out the load better.

Can you wash shoes in a Whirlpool duet washing machine front end
It is generally not recommended to wash shoes, especially athletic or sports shoes, in a front-loading washing machine like the Whirlpool Duet. While the washing machine may be capable of handling the physical task of washing shoes, there are a few reasons why it is not advisable:
- Potential Damage: Shoes often have components like rubber soles, delicate fabrics, or other materials that can be damaged or deformed in the washing machine. The mechanical action of the machine, along with the detergent and water, can cause excessive wear, tear, or even disintegration of the shoe materials.
- Machine Damage: Washing shoes in a machine can cause imbalances, leading to excessive vibrations or damage to the machine's drum or other components. This can result in the machine not functioning properly or requiring repairs.
- Residue and Odor: Shoes may contain dirt, mud, or other substances that can leave residue in the washing machine. This residue can build up over time, affecting the cleanliness and performance of subsequent laundry loads. Additionally, some shoes may have strong odors that can transfer to the machine and impact future laundry.

Whirlpool Commercial Washer CAE2745FQ coin operated machine won't turn on. We changed the price and put it back together and now it won't turn on when the coins fall into the coin box. HELP!
If your Whirlpool Commercial Washer CAE2745FQ coin-operated machine won't turn on after changing the price and reassembling it, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the power supply: Ensure that the washer is properly connected to a functioning power outlet. Verify that the power cord is securely plugged in and that there is power at the outlet. If the outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is turned on.
- Examine the coin mechanism: Double-check that the coin mechanism is correctly installed and aligned. Ensure that all connections and wires are securely attached. Sometimes, a loose or improperly connected coin mechanism can prevent the washer from starting.
- Inspect the door switch: The door switch is a safety feature that prevents the washer from operating when the door is open. Make sure that the door is fully closed and latched properly. If the door switch is faulty or not engaging correctly, it may need to be replaced.
- Check for error codes or resets: Some commercial washers have error code displays or reset procedures. Refer to the washer's manual or documentation to see if there are any error codes displayed or if there is a specific reset process you need to follow.
- Test the control panel and switches: Ensure that the control panel buttons and switches are functioning properly. Check if any buttons or switches are stuck or unresponsive. If necessary, clean the control panel and switches to remove any dirt or debris that may be affecting their operation.
- Contact professional assistance: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact Whirlpool's customer support or a qualified technician who specializes in commercial laundry equipment. They will have the necessary expertise and tools to diagnose and repair the specific issue with your coin-operated washer.
